Great food & experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance upon entry. Greeted well and were very accommodating with requests. Ordered oxtails with rice & peas and cabbage, Mac & cheese, collard greens, potato salad, cornbread & lastly cheeseburger & fries ? Everything was GREAT!! Great portions and presentation. Tasha said see you soon and she was right! That food was on time!!
Wow! What's there not to say about the food, the hospitality and the service provided at this special place! You too will be calling this your home away from home once you allow yourself to witness and taste all the Love that is poured into the preparation and execution of each dish! Did I mention that everything is cooked fresh when you order! I will definitely be back many times because I want to try everything on this menu! We had Curry Goat (with cabbage, vegetables, plus peas & rice), Stuffed Salmon (with Grandmas Mac & Cheese, collard greens and corn bread), OxTails (with cabbage and rice & peas), A side of sweet potatoes, Banana Pudding Cheesecake and Banana Pudding! Absolutely outrageous portions of food and though in our minds we desired to continue eating, we had to stop ourselves and take the rest home. No worries.....I'm already looking forward to my left overs! Thank you Chef Natasha Williams and Mr. Williams for sharing your recipes with us all. Honestly, I was really excited about this place after reading the reviews, but it’s a no for me.I was missing a side, there was nothing candied about the yams and they tasted like they were sitting in splenda water..The turkey wings had a very weird sweet after taste as well.Thumbs up for the cornbread, I guess.
Cute spot providing delicious, food. We had the chicken roti and an oxtail dinner with rice and peas and cabbage. Food was served in huge portions, it was well seasoned and flavorful. As great as all the food was, the side of cornbread that looked amazing on the tray tasted even better than i imagined. You should get a side of corn bread too. Staff at this establishment is friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the vicinity.
This is really delicious, expertly prepared food. You will not be making a mistake getting food from this restaurant, which only has two tables for eating inside. We will be coming again! I would suggest you make it take out and get it from here.We got catfish, curry goat, rum wings, Mac and cheese, collared greens, rice and peas, candied yams, corn bread. We still have some left for another meal.Mmmm!
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fried chicken dinner which came with a nice sized breast, leg and wing. The chicken was juicy and crunchy ?. The mac and cheese and the greens were also very tasty . Tasha her husband and the young lady taking the orders were also friendly and very professional. See y'all Friday!!! Oh wait....that sweet potato cheese cake was everything ?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! AWESOME FOOD AND THE OWNERS ARE GREAT PEOPLE ?. I PERSONALLY LOVE THE COLLARD GREENS,CURRY POTATOES,GREEN BEANS,CABBAGE, TUNA MACARONI ( NEW TO THE MENU AND IT'S SLAMMIN?) THE CORNBREAD??ALL THE FISH AND EVEN THE PASTA.. EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED☺️.
Nice place cool people the owner was really nice. The only only problem is tryin to find parkin & the food was good except it had no seasonin or real flavor it was kinda bland. I had the Oxtails & my brother had the jerk chicken. It was gud it jus needs seasoning to make the flavor.
Visited all the way from Florida . Very clean inside . Tasha greeted me upon walking in. I will be moving to Jersey soon and I can’t wait to see Tasha more and taste that good food more ….Very friendly Staff. When she reads this , she will know who I am( the girl that ordered Rasta Pastas ) BTW her ingredients are Vegan …???
First time ordering from Chef Tasha’s! I must say my food is absolutely delicious, turkey wings Mac n cheese rice & peas and cabbage,oh and a slice of corn bread ?,all types busting flavors ??? I would recommend this place to family and friends????
