Limin’s food and quality all around has just gone completely down the drain! After being opened for so…… many years, you would have thought the determination, atmosphere, the food etc., would grow into something bigger and better as time goes on but instead it’s become a total disappointment. The food is oh so dry, not flavorful, very small portions for the amount of money being paid overall awful. I mean I know food has taken an increase on many lives, but even before inflation hit it was still the same small amount of food for extreme prices. One good thing I will say though, the smoothies, shakes and drinks are the only A+ from me and my family. The front working staff, not all but some, are so rude, have horrible attitudes, talk mess about you, just treat you and their job like garbage. Instead of focusing on doing good work and treating the customers well.
The bake and anything is always all tomato and onion with a pinch of fish. The doubles bara isn’t the way it used to be. It’s not nice and fluffy the way it used to be.This is my biggest complaint… BODHI IS BODHI. GREEN BEANS ARE NOT BODHI. I am so tired of going there and asking if they have real bodhi and they lie and tell me yes even after saying I don’t want green beans and I look at my meal and it’s green beans. The dahl and rice part comes with three drops of dahl.Another important complaint… they changed something about their pone. It’s not creamy anymore and it doesn’t taste the same. It tastes like ghee and is hard inside.Their veggie platter HAS NO SEASONING it’s sautéed veggies with nothing. Watery and runny. The dahl puri has no filling! And last time I had the curry beef the beef could’ve killed a person it was so hard. They had new management and had improved tremendously and now it’s worse than before.I used to love this place and now, it’s just so disappointing. As expensive as they are to be disappointed is very unfortunate. It’s probably worth it to plan a drive down to Annie’s Hot on D Spot instead. At least there’s more consistency down there and bang for your buck. I’d rather spend the money there than here anymore.

I drove 40 minutes to try this food. The staff was very personable, friendly and accommodating. Fast forward to my meal...it tasted like absolutely nothing. I had stewed chicken, rice and macaroni pie. They all had the same flavor which was no flavor. I understand as a restaurant you need to try and please everyone but please season your food.
Limins has been disappointing me lately. The first issue was that there were flies in my smoothie. They corrected that. Today I had my husband pick up some bakes & smoked herring & I received this! This isn’t smoke herring, this is tomato & onions and barely any smoked herring! Very disappointing. I just threw it out.
Been coming here since I was a a kid calling it Caribbean Cuisine. Loved this place then and only grew to love it more! They honestly have the best doubles I’ve have in Jersey! If you make sure and try some and hit the juice bar! Need to come back back for some peanut punch!
Went there just to get Plain Roti Skins. Very disappointed worst Roti I ever had in my life. Very salty and is crumbled together not flat like regular Roti. Will not be returning.
I went like 3 or 4 times and it had always been beautiful! The decor and furniture are amazing and the food is great! They have stuff I never see anywhere else, like that chubbie soda/juice thing. I wish the bathroom was not in the kitchen though- it's kinda awkward, but it's fine. I'm sure all you guys who "want to feel at home" or whatever it's called will love this place!
The fresh drink selection is something unique and original. The food choices are what you'd expect and delicious, although really light on the spice and seasoning.Everything is pretty pricey for the portion size you get though. And there's multiple times now where I've been given the wrong food in my pickup order. With that being said though, I still recommend this place. The people are nice, the food and drinks are good.
I normally get Roti from here which ate great. However I decided to try something different. I got the curry shrimp with peas and rice. It was not good at all. The rice was mushy and the plantains were really hard. I was truly disappointed because I've always loved their roti. I'll just stick to getting the Roti if I ever order from them again.
