Went in yesterday, around 1p.m. 1st thing I noticed was it didn't smell like chicken or any kind of food for that matter. Then the young lady at the front counter was rude texting on her phone an scratching her braids ?! Then she passed my order to another customer that came in 10mins after me! Then when I got my order which was fish shrimp and yellow rice. There was no condiments or utensils in the bag just a BOX of food an a receipt!! This is after I asked for hot sauce packages an tartar sauce!! Had to come back in an ask for it after I left an she was still just texting on her phone.. Fish was EXTREMELY SALTY, I had to drink 2 bottles of water afterwards ??!
Food was good, new spot was ok. The floor was a little dirty in spots and old refrigerator for sodas need to be fixed or taken out.....
Came on Thursday, they said they were out of chicken and sides. Today is Saturday and they're giving me the same story. Crazy because even if you call ahead, they don't start your order until you get there. Not sure what to make of this other than they don't want my business.
I don't know what's going on but when you use the address from the map it takes you to a building in orange but if you type the same address into in to the address bar it takes you to the restaurant I don't understand it when they both are the same address.210 Springdale Ave, East Orange, NJ 07017
I ordered a 20 piece chicken with fries even left a $5 tip for the guy at the register upon picking up the food get home and find a roach in the food ?so I call the store to report what I found in the food and the guy didn’t sound like he cared much however he said bring the chicken back for a refund.. Eat at your own risk ⛔️
I live a hr. and a half away. About 6:30pm, I ordered 10 wings 2 vegan peach cobbler. I told the Young Man at the counter specifically I wanted my wings straight from the deep fryer, you can hear the sound of the chicken frying. I hate when I spend my money, the persons giving me some old wings that they refried, wings was very crunchy hard, bone dark inside, taste gone. Turned my stomach, you can deny all you want. You will hear from me, I spent $22. $11.00 for 10 piece wings. I live to far to return. Can't tell me nothing different. I know about fried Chix. So dissatisfied. Shame on you guys.
