Took 20 minutes for a grilled chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was so thin it took maybe mins max to actually cook. Watched the cook in the window take fries off shelf and reheat to reserve to other customers. Seems to have a very disorganized kitchen as orders were being yelled back and forth and calling for missing orders constantly.
Ordered the double barbecue bacon cheddar burger, patties were overcooked, charred on the edges and the haystack onions were missing. Very disappointing, usually enjoy their product, not this time
My bestie and I were impressed with the staff (we assumed it was the manager) the manager kept giving the cook words of inspiration like, "You did a good job" or "That food looks great". Which it did by the way. It was just refreshing to hear praise at a time when so many are complaining about so much. My burger with extra pickles was delicious.
Really good experience overall. It was my first ever visit to Smashburger. To start it off, the staff were welcoming and super nice. The restaurant was clean and even the restroom too.
Disorganized staff. Order was not made to order. Ingredients left off one burger. Other burger they didn't have ingredient, so we told them to make burger without it. Had to wait additional time. Then 4 other orders filled, prior to asking if ours was done. Then confusion between staff & cooks that 2nd burger was already provided, they had to cook another burger. We had to wait about 40 minutes until order fulfilled from time order was placed. Wouldn't go back here again to this location. This happened at the East Brunswick Smashburger
Great food and a very fast customer service. Clean place and welcoming staffs. I love how convenient this place on my area. I really enjoyed the burgers here.
Ordered at the store and had to wait about 20 min just for 2 plain cheese burgers and regular fries. There were 3 staffs inside the kitchen and 3 staffs outside, putting food in the bags. The staffs are not placing the orders correctly. Customers ordered after us got their food.
The food was great but they are seriously understaffed. My husband and I ordered shakes with our burgers. Our burgers were served without the shakes. Towards the end of our meal my husband went up to the counter to find out what was going on. We had watched other customers come and go with shakes. The person behind the counter said she was the only one there. I dont blame her but this is clearly poor management. I'd rather wait for my food and get it at the same time as my drinks than get my drinks at the end of my meal.
Amazing food, great value! Will definitely be back!
I'd give a 5 star rating except every single time I've ordered a smashburger without a bun, I have never gotten smash sauce on it. It's always a big production to get it.
