Two of us stopped here for a late lunch, since we were shopping right in the area. We were the only ones there for dining inside -- other than a single guy sitting in the opposite corner. The place is obviously more popular for Take-Out, since that counter was constantly busy with a steady stream of customers arriving every few minutes. That delayed service for us considerably. As we waited, we could not help but notice the extremely bright, colorful and festive décor all around us, and took a bunch of photos of some very cute and unusual items. Finally, our complimentary Chips arrived with some Salsa Verde and a Black bean Dip. We ordered our usual Mexican favorites -- Chicken Enchiladas and Chicken Fajitas. The large portions of food were obviously freshly prepared, but the Chicken in the Fajitas was way too bland for us. When we let the server know, he came back with some spicy salsa to mix with the chicken, and that helped tremendously in making everything a lot tastier. Also, in our opinion, the Chef was too heavy handed with the addition of Garlic. The Vegetables and the Rice were perfectly cooked. Our server, Sebastian, was-helpful, friendly and courteous. He always had a smile, even though he was super busy. The prices were average for the large portions, and for that area. We had plenty of leftovers for another meal. We will be happy to return to this restaurant if we are on Route 18.
I'll start with saying that the food is amazing, authentic Mexican cuisine. However the food you order may not be the food you get. I asked for a chicken burrito... I got a steak burrito. Not what I wanted, but it was still good. The service is just atrocious though. It takes forever to get someone to come to you and then they give you the wrong thing (which has happened several times). It's always a tough choice if it's worth it to go or not. Is it worth the service?
I was sooooo happy to find a place with tamales made the way i loved in California
My fiancé and I have been coming to this delicious restaurant for over 5 years. It is our go to for Mexican food. We absolutely love the food down to the atmosphere. If you haven’t tried the food, you are missing out!
We dined in and our waitress was friendly and attentive. She knew her dishes and described to us with pleasure. We had pozole, tostada and chimanga and it were awesome.
i love the food clean place great atmosphere ♥️great costumer service i always go back ? my favorite is carnita en salsa verde ✨
The food is okay but the they over price the food a burrito is $14 dollars and tortas are 20 bucks. And be careful they don't give you the exact change so check it Over. They could do better and fix there price compare to other Mexican restaurants like in new Brunswick or other towns.
Third time patronizing this establishment with friends for lunch during the week. Service was attentive, food quality very good. Ambiance well appointed.
