My wife got a grilled chicken sandwich today for lunch. She got about halfway thru the second half of the sandwich and that part of the chicken was raw. We didn't make a scene and told the waitress. I figured the manager or owner would of came over to apologize but no they didn't. They told the waitress making it half price is good enough. This could of gotten my wife very sick and not even come over was horrible. I asked the for the manager. After explaining we don't want anything else and her ignoring me completely. She finally took it off the bill. I will never ever go there again. This was one our favorite Diners. Me being in manager of retail and restaurants "when u worry about pennies you lose dollars ". Also they don't worry about food safety and possibly getting people sick.
The food took a very long time after we were seated but since it was Mother's Day, the wait time was probably atypical. Our family of 3 ordered different meals and we all agree that the food and drinks we ordered were tasty. The waitress was very nice as well.
Great place!! Service is phenomenal!! Philip was our waiter and he was wonderful and very funny !! My mother and I had a great experience. Hector helps us out as well and was very nice. Only reason I give it 4 and not a 5 the French toast was soggy and the turkey bacon wasn’t cooked all the way and the home fries was delicious but my mother had the pepper jack burger and she loved it
Apparently this is a chicken pot pie, described on their menu as “Fresh roasted chicken, celery, carrots, and peas in a supreme sauce, pastry crust.” Door dash has it priced at $19. I would’ve been better off getting a similar entree at a nearby fast food restaurant.
Quickly became our first choice diner for weekend breakfasts. Food has always been fresh and good quality. Great coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Good service too.
Too expensive, food needed flavor
My first visit to this Diner, my parents were with me and have been there before. We were seated very quickly and the place was pretty busy. Our server, Caroline, was extremely attentive! She was quick with the orders, refills of our drinks, and extra items we requested. Sometimes she was bringing over items she knew we needed before we even asked. I had the 'little bit of everything' breakfast meal which was very filling. I would definitely return to have another meal here.
This diner was definitely 5 stars 2 years ago. I think it changed ownership within that time…and it hasn’t been the same. The staff has always been nice. The menu is somewhat limited (they don’t even carry kids Mac and Cheese anymore). We still went back a few times. The thing that sealed it for us was this evening. We went back there around 5:30pm. We were seated and ordered our food. Just as our food came…they started bleaching the floors in the back of diner. Not a fan of eating dinner with the profuse smell of bleach. We ended up just paying and leaving. Not sure who made the decision to bleach the floors while people are eating in the dining room…but I felt like we were eating in a bathroom or pool store
The food is delicious and take out service is fast. Everything is really good. Mozzarella triangles, Greek salad, pastas and chocolate cake are some of our favorites.
Delicious Western omelet. Aunt had pumpkin pancakes. Loved them. Waitress was personable. Asked us to wait for coffee, she had just started a new pot. Restroom was clean. All staff wore masks.
