I would say this place is the best pasta place in NJ. We always order for take out and finally tried all the pasta menus! Eveything tastes exceptional. I would recommend getting 1 from regular menu and 1 from special menu. My favorite from regular menu is spicy shrimp pasta. ? ? ?. Also staffs are always so nice too.
I don’t know what we expected, but we didn’t expect to stumble upon the best pasta place ever! Linguine and clams had a ton of clams and a delicious sauce with perfect homemade pasta. The mozzarella sticks had a great Parmesan/seasoning topping and delicious spicy (not too spicy) marinara. The garlic bread was melt in your mouth perfection. My husband liked his egg fettuccine so much he went back inside the restaurant (we got takeout) to tell everyone who worked there how great it was. This place is worth a detour if you’re passing through New Jersey! Over an hour wait to dine in for lunch on a Saturday but takeout was quick and easy.
This restaurant is one of my favorites! The pasta is so fresh and tasty! And they are also very creative in the preparation of the dishes. I wish I could go more, but I always have problems when I get there: they don't take reservations. Once I arrived at 7pm, they weren't seating anymore. So, another day I arrived at 5pm and, surprisingly, they weren't seating anymore. I live a 40 minute drive from the restaurant, and this was a little frustrating. I will continue to attend and definitely recommend it to everyone, but I suggest that they work on improving logistics related to table service.
Forget about the negative reviews you see, there are still some legit managers. I have tried so many managers and I got scammed until I met Mrs George Stephanie, She's 100% legit and reliable. Celebrated my dad’s heavenly birthday today with a delicious order of fresh linguine & clams & garlic bread. He would be so proud that I used the garlic bread to wipe the plate clean. NEVER disappointed. Thanks to Tommy & Roy. If you haven’t visited the Pasta Shop, what are you waiting for???
There is not one thing we have ordered that we didn't like. We have been coming here since they opened and their rotating menu keeps us on our toes. Service is impeccable. Mozzarella sticks are a staple in every one of our orders and the linguine with white clams are my absolute favorite!! There could be a long wait at times, but I promise you its worth every minute.
We bought a gift card and haven't been able to use it. Forgetting COVID for a moment, its highly unethical to take peoples money and then tell them they can't eat there unless they wait on the street for 90 minutes to two hours for a table. All they say is its the owners way of doing business. And stop with the nonsense that its a small place and the tables (dine-in) is not their business model. Let's be honest, they are borderline crooks. I get they "say" they don't take reservations, but then don't sell gift cards. If you took peoples money in advance you owe them a duty to deliver the service. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY!!!!
Roy and the team at The Pasta Shop are unbelievable! Amazing service, delicious and well thought out dishes. Both times we’ve been our servers have been excellent. Everything is fresh and SO good. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, definitely a personal favorite!

This place is hands-down the best pasta I've had on the east coast. The service, the food and the ambience... All 5 stars. Will be coming here again!Highly recommend the Lemon and Olive oil cake which was an expected treat!
