Never disappoints! I’m originally from Denville, however, moved away many years ago. This is a must stop every time I visit Denville. Food is excellent, great Italian sandwiches! Take out only, but several places to sit in town.
Awesome food, amazing service. First time there, and they had my sandwich. As much as that was an incredibly nice thing to do, it is an absolute spot to get some serious Italian food.

Our family absolutely LOVES Sergios. Everything is freshly made, from the sandwiches, to the sauces, to the sides, it’s all delicious. Prices can be steep but it’s worth it for the quality of the food. The fresh mozzarella is unparalleled. The staff is always friendly and polite and they keep the line moving along. You can call ahead to place and order (highly recommended), and they also do catering with advanced noticed. Sergios is our go-to for all our Italian food needs!*make sure to also check out the Pasta Shop around the corner, same owner and out of this world!

Recently we ordered some items from the catering menu for some friends who had a family emergency and were expecting a large number of guests descending on their home. I called Sergio's the day before we needed the food and spoke directly with Sergio the owner. He was VERY accommodating and made up some special trays for our order (this is not always the case with all the local establishments in our new world we live in). Everything was beautifully organized and as always the quality and taste of the food was top notch (especially the meatballs!!!) and it was ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. Sergio's is the top of our "go to" list for take out and for catering from now on!!! Go Sergio & Co!!!
After years of coming here, the quality has really gone down hill. I ordered my usual #7 for lunch and didn't realize a sandwich is now $14 there, but that's not even the point.The chicken cutlets were soggy and tasteless, the mozzarella was chewy and felt like puddy with no taste, and the sandwich itself was 75% bread.I won't be going back here for quite some time
They have unbelievable sandwiches which I believe they make their own breads, exquisite, specialty salads and foods, as well as many other foods such as meatballs, etc. A true and authentic Italian deli that is beyond compare! My personal favorite sandwich is the #1. I brought it to work and my co-workers were salivating and literally demanded I pick up the same sandwich for them! 12 sandwiches later I had 11 very happy co-workers! Have lunch here and then go to The Pasta Shop! Same owner, homemade pasta, unbelievable Italian cuisine that is less than a 5 minute walk from Sergio and Co. Dine in, dine outdoors weather permitting or get take out. I can NOT say enough good things about the food, service, staff and highest quality products! For the quality and delicious combinations of their creations, I feel they under price many things on their menu.
Waited over 20 mins for a special of the day , meatball parm, 10 workers on the floor , they had no clue about a thing , every place I've been to in the area your in and out .
The best Italian deli around! Go to for sandwiches and homemade soup. Their dinner and pre made options are always fresh and delicious.
