Let me start by saying that if you live in Passaic county you know that you have a million Colombian restaurants and bakeries to choose from. This one however, is really the best. Macondo has been around since I can remember and they ALWAYS put the customer first. Their empanadas are bursting with flavor, their $13 lunch that comes with soup or beans, your choice of grilled chicken, pork or steak, rice, plantains and salad which is really for two people is just unbelievable. Their coffee!!! Antojitos Colombianos, their chicharrón and their fast food. ZERO COMPLAINTS! But beside all of their delicious food...it's their service. They have the most amazing waiters and waitresses. They treat you like you were their family or hometown neighbor. "En que le puedo ayudar amor?" . If for some reason your order missed something they waste no time in making it up. Esta panadería es la mejor en NJ. Love them...PLEASE GO TO THIS PLACE!!! They are the best way to feel Colombian.
Great chicken and beef empanadas. Enjoying them with an oatmeal shake at the sidewalk café. Great service as well.
Good clean Columbian food.. the price is just right . My wife's favorite Columbian spot ... we always get the specials they are right on point..
All I can say is we've never been disappointed with the food or service. They are very friendly and courteous, fast and efficient.
I come here to eat the beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas. Also I love drinking their coffee with milk and they make delicious mango smoothies.
Good prices coffee is smooth. I only ever had chersebread as a snack before work but I look forward to going more often.
The staff was rude and very mean to me. The buñuelo was hard, not fresh. I won't go back. Treated very unfairly and not professional at all. Bad experience. While reading the other peoples reviews with similar experiences I can totally relate and completely agree.

I had the steak/onions. It came with rice ,salad ,beans(red beans) and fried plantain . Everything was prepared great! The food was delicious, the service was professional and courteousThey have great menu options. Cant wait to go back and try other things??
I honestly love this place and find it to be a more traditional colombian bakery/restaurant than Noches De Colombia. They even have authentic Colombian junk food that I haven't eaten since I last visited 7 years ago. Brought back childhood memories lol.
