This restaurant used to provide good quality service until they changed up the management team. When Safi was the manager about a year ago, this location was fast and on-point. In fact, he knew I lost my wallet in the store once and asked me a week later if I found it. I wish he was the manager here, but unfortunately times change and this store is no longer the same. To start, they got my order wrong twice in the same week. First order was for a medium cake batter iced coffee, but I got a small black coffee instead. Two days later, I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel, but I got an plain bagel with cream cheese. Even better, the staff cannot comprehend as I literally had to say my order three times in a row extremely slowly like as if I am talking to a child. Finally, after going through that order, the manager refuses to charge my card at the register, despite the machine being visible this time and a hidden one that is fully functional, and forces me to use the self checkout machine and start from scratch, which brings me to my next point. For the past month, the staff have purposely hid the credit card pinpads from the counter register. At first, they would tell me those registers "cash only", but would eventually take my card and swipe it under the counter. I suggested kindly that they at least post signs making aware of the change, but they never listened. However, like I said earlier, the last time I went they refused to charge my card and forced me to use the self checkout. Along with this, the ATM that was in the store for at least 20 years has been removed without notice, making this situation even more difficult, and the same self checkout machines were being serviced by management that same day. When I confronted management, they hostilely said to me this was a 'corporate policy', and refused to respond when I informed him every other location in the Clifton area if not the State of NJ allows you to use a credit card at the counter register. In fact, I contacted corporate and they were appalled by what was going on here and confirmed this does not comply with policy. While I got a free beverage added to my account, I did not hear back from ownership of the franchise as promised.I wish this could be shorter, and I tried revising this to make it shorter, but everything written here happened in the span of what should have been a simple 10 minute order on my way to work. I think the Clifton Rec Department should have a volunteer program for the 5th graders at the school nearby to work here, because I know they will do a far better job. In fact, Michael Scott and the rest of The Office will guarantee your order more than the staff here.I have shared my experience with the other Dunkin' in the Styertowne Shopping Mall and not only do the staff treat you like family there, they had a good laugh and made this a distant memory.
Upon a recent visit we stood at the register for several minutes while the two employees working there were preparing drinks for the drive-thru. Even when a gentleman walked up to the counter we said hi, we were not greeted nor even received eye contact. He appeared to go out of his way to ignore us.The woman who was working did eventually smile when we called to them to get service and eventually helped us and was polite enough.Maybe there's no reason not to acknowledge a customer at the register. Would definitely not recommend coming in here. Also if you have trouble with stairs, do not use the back entrance by the parking lot as you have to walk upstairs and then back down stairs to get to the counter. Only the front entrance is level with the counter. Such a bad design. Even simply putting a notice on the back door that would notify customers that might have trouble with stairs to use the front door instead would have been smart.I also think we met the zombie here that was mentioned in another review. ?#Duncan #nothandicapfriendly #badcustomerservice #
This location used to be amazing... until they hired new people who are lazy and don't care about what kind of service they provide. Its ashame how a few people can ruin something great..
for the Past month every single day my order has been wrong i verify with them every time they get very nasty and do not acknowledge me and try to rush me off, i keep paying for ice caramel lattes but im ONLY getting iced coffees with no sugar no caramel and no whip cream, all of which i ask for. they charge me daily for 4 extra pumps of caramel yet give me NO caramel!! this is my waisted money and i would like to speak to Cooperate regarding this immediately this is unfair. At this point they are stealing peoples hard earned money. when you go to work you like your morning coffee there is no reason why im throwing it out everyday when that is my money spent...from donuts to bagels to coffee it is always WRONG! i would like my issues to be addressed i have attempted sending emails and they never get responded to. can someone please reach out!
Order from drive thru , they said there are no order when I went to pickup window . I ordered from pickup window coffe they gave me latte. I ordered 10 chocolate glazed munchkins they give 5 vanilla and 5 chocolate. You have to ask straw with order . They are not professional.
Rude, slow service, I was on line inside. No one in front of me, 6 or 7 people working just looking at me like I was there for fun! Dirty bathroom, dirty floor and tables, terrible.
Every time I come here my food is rushed and burnt, or my order is wrong. I didn’t write a review until now because I thought maybe it was just a rough day for them, but that rough day has turned into a rough couple of months. I ordered a vanilla chai once and got a coffee. Today I ordered a hot vanilla chai, iced coffee, hash browns and a wake up wrap. Both drinks were very watered down with no sweetness to it, although we asked for extra sweet. The wraps were shoved in the bag all sloppy and collapsed on itself and they tasted as if they’d been heated up over burnt crumbs or something, the taste was off. The hash browns were both BURNT and COLD at the same time!! They tasted terrible and that makes no sense to me. Over the last year+ this Dunkin’s service has been horrible, and continues getting worse. Don’t bother wasting your money or time here. It’s like they don’t even care about what they’re giving you. Service is trash.
Always a problem here. ... Even with order ahead. Still waiting and always have to ask for a cup holder . Always problems here. Always long lines in drive thru this place needs a new manager or owner not sure which don't care. but def needs a new management updated. Some employees are amazing others just don't listen or are too busy rushing you and yelling at you and have a nasty attitude. Like the manager/owner guy. . I'm going to start emailing my complaints so they have to free me the next time I go back. Its always way too much nonsense happening here. I'm tired of it.
Horrible, there were three employees and the one in the front taking orders is either new or just slow and lazy. He kept pulling up his pants and walking zombie like. This store needs a manager or people that really want to work. Even though it's the closest to me I hate going to this store
That had a very nice drive-in set up! They had off street parking and I went inside the store to order. The counter help were very polite and everyone had on masks. Service was quick and my Latte was great! Great for a quick stop!
