Would love to say the food was bad but since they were closing up an hour earlier than their advertised closing time, I wouldn't know. I understand closing a few minutes early but an hour, that's ridiculous. They said they had turned off the ovens and were stacking chairs on tables. We could buy what was left under the heat lamps, but that was it.
King of Pizza has the shredded sausage topping that I prefer. I don't like the big chunks of sausage that some places have. And being as tho my boyfriend shops at Home Depot a LOT (which is right across the street), we go to King of Pizza a LOT too! The lady who works the counter/cash register/phone orders (who's name I can't remember) is just the SWEETEST!! She makes the visit worth going. She makes EVERYONE she encounters smile.
Ordered cheesesteaks, and they were excellent! Packed with meat! This place does it right.Plus, the employees are very friendly and you can tell they take pride in their work.I am always skeptical of joints with multiple locations for some reason, but King of Pizza shattered my preconceived notion. Highly recommend *****
Been coming to The King Of for 35 years. Stopped by the other day.Plain slice was not really that good,however the sausage was a little bit better something has changed over the past couple years. Shame
Tbh, not the biggest fan of their pizza. Definitely not my favorite. However, I gave it 4 stars because the older woman who works behind the counter I'd an absolute gem. They were very short staffed and even though she was a bit overwhelmed, her customer service was phenomenal. She treated us with such grace and kindness and checked on us throughout our meal.
Executive Chef Rodriguez here, Omg ordered a sicilian with xtra pepperonies n broccoli. Im feasting in my mouth. I love it.
In my opinion, which is all that matters when I’m spending my money - this place was just OK - sauce OK, crust OK AND when it all came together with cheese it was all just OK, so my quest to find a GREAT pizza spot in south jersey continues. I did find the prices here to be reasonable, which I know is relative, but 2 plain slices and 1 sausage slice $9.+, which seemed reasonable to me. If you plan to visit please be sure to have cash on hand because this is a cash only business.

Great NY Style pizza! Slices could be a little larger, but overall delicious!Haven't tried anything else from here, but the staff was friendly and fast.
My mother has dementia so I bought some pizza for her from there she use to take us there all of time so I stopped and bought some pizza for her she loved it and I told her it was King of Pizza and she remembered the pizza place made my day I'll continue going there my mother loved it she said best pizza
