Duck.....get the duck!! It is served with little pancakes or buns, shredded scallions, and hoisin sauce!!! The duck is cooked perfectly!!!
I am extremely disappointed with this. Ordered Xiao Long Bao (definitely store bought), Pan fried noodles and yang zhou fried rice. They were all meh. The three ended up being over $40– not worth it.
Sang Kee is one of my favorite restaurants around. I order from them more than I should, but my wallet and I have zero regrets. My favorite options on the menu are the big bowls of noodle soup and the beef with lemongrass. I get them almost every time, but their other options are also super tasty. Since COVID, they are only doing takeout right now, but whenever they open again for dine-in, I highly recommend eating in as well. It's a cute, smaller restaurant and the service is always great. I appreciate all the people working here that constantly pump amazing food out of that kitchen every day. Tuesdays are my least favorite day of the week because Sang Kee is closed.
I come here for the Peking Duck every once in a while. I haven’t actually tried anything else yet, so take my rating with that bias under consideration. The staff is friendly, the duck was perfect.
Ordered the shrimp dumpling soup which was just okay, but the Tom yum soup I ordered was truly awful. Sickeningly sweet with no other notes of flavor, and the seafood and vegetables in it were very low quality. Will not be coming back here unfortunately especially considering I paid $30 for just these 2 dishes.
Extremely disappointed . Based on the reviews and a personal recommendation oh and let’s not forget the prices. We thought we were going to have a 5/5 first time experience, customer service was pretty good, but overall the food was something I did not approve of. When I got home my husband and I had to basically recook our soups and also season it. I got the seafood soup which was basically full of veggies that were undercooked . Very unhappy ☹️ I love food and I love my money to. And when it’s wasted , I get very upset . Shame on this business and cook. In my opinion this business should be renamed I was very disappointed with the soup , and the texture of the noodles , I don’t think they specialize in “noodles”.
The food here is decently good for the price, their spice level wasn't high enough for me even though I ordered spicy food. But otherwise the food was good and the staff seemed nice enough.
It’s not an easy task to find not completely Americanized Asian food in South Jersey. Thankfully though they do exist and Sang Kee in Cherry Hill is just as great as their Chinatown Philadelphia counterpart. I had the Steamed Shanghai Soup Dumplings that was just amazing and the roasted duck with Chinese green vegetable rice platter. If in the area this is a good spot.
Amazing food! I have to admit, it has gone down a little bit in the last couple years but still amazing quality. The service is okay, not amazing, but thats not what matters and the food quality greatly outweighs it! Have gone there almost every month since 2018 and plan to continue!
