Service was excellent. Food was pretty good. The Banana's foster French toast was good but a little greasy for my liking. The Banana's foster pancakes were good too but not great. The Banana's foster waffles were the best of the banana foster choices and I recommend them. My dad got the filet mignon and he really loved it! The cost wasn't bad at all, I think it was fair.
So Ponzios is not what it use to be, when it comes to portions. There were maybe 5 more fries in this plate of Fish and Chips. The Manager said well we weigh the fries. So now your rationing food. This was a child’s portion forreal! Won’t be back and it’s sad, this place has so much history, but now is a shell of what it use to be! ?
Excellent food, large portions and very friendly and efficient service. We called ahead to get on the wait list which worked well.Bread basket with dinner had great mix of breads.Desserts looked great and huge portions, but no room to taste them. Would return in a heartbeat.
Met a friend for lunch. Decided to sit at the bar since there was a 15 to 20 minute wait for a table in the main restaurant. We had a great time. The bartender was very attentive. Great lunch specials. Delicious iced tea. I had the Cubano sandwich and my friend had a chicken Caesar wrap. Both excellent!
We stopped here for breakfast I had a pork roll egg and cheese wrap . Quick service Bridget was wonderful. We took cookies and dessert with us . The smores cupcake was so good I wish I had another one .
A fabulous diner !! We had breakfast there this weekend with relatives and it was wonderful! Nice size portions, great service!! The bakery items were so beautiful we had to take some back to NC with us!!

Ponzio's is a very nice diner to go to and have a good meal. My granddaughter and I went there for breakfast and we enjoyed our meal. The waitress was nice to us. I hadn't been to this diner in years so when I did go there I was not disappointed. Go and enjoy this diner!!
I've been coming to Ponzio's my whole life. My family was coming here before I was born. I almost gave it 5 stars for the nostalgia alone, because this is truly a special diner. We usually come for breakfast so I can't speak much to their dinners but breakfast here is everything I love in a Jersey diner. Their eggs benedict is my favorite ever (and I've eaten a lot of eggs benny), I just wish it was available all the time, as opposed to just holidays and weekends. Their oatmeal and omelets are also delicious and my dad has been ordering their creamed chip beef for ages. This place is a South Jersey staple, good service, good food. We will continue to come here for as long as I can foresee!
Great food and great service. We have been getting takeout from them for years! Have not dined in the restaurant yet, but they are usually full every time I go to pick up my food. Portion sizes are large so be prepared to eat! They also have daily specials that are posted to at least their Facebook page, so check them out too. Definitely recommend.
