Complete hole in the wall in the best way possible! Water served in repurposed tequila bottles, since it’s BYOB. I am so glad we saw a previous review that mentioned they serve virgin margaritas and you can bring your own tequila.DO. IT. BYO tequila and order their virgin margaritas. Your life will be changed. So fresh and so tasty, and you can add how much or how little tequila you want. A dream come true! This was perfect for Father’s Day dinner for my family, since our dad loves authentic Mexican food. If you want something legit, look no further. Everything we ordered was delicious. Even the churros were amazing! Service was mentioned in many reviews but we didn’t really have an issue, nothing seemed to take too long. Hope to go back another time, maybe when I don’t have to drive home!
Consistently wonderful family-owned Mexican restaurant. You can taste the pride in the meal. Donât expect chain food Mexican - this is way better! Weâve eaten here over 100 times since it opened and will gladly be back for more.
The food here at La Cita is excellent ! I came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised the lunch specials for 12 bucks were spot on! 2 tacos your choice of soup salad or rice and black beans, I wasn’t in the mood for soup but the mrs. Ordered it anyway both were delicious ! She had the fish tacos. I had the steak ones each were plump with meat and succulent flavors from the fresh lime and cilantro. The rice Horchata was so refreshing, I saw one at another table and I just had to have one. The tortilla chips and black bean with cheese on top was an added bonus. This place is great. Byob and bring your own tequila. They have a lime margarita mix you can buy for the table if you want to mix yours orHave it straight up with ice. Either way this place off the strip is well worth stopping into!
Quaint little dinning area was comfortable and welcoming. Food was delicious and service was exemplary. Would definitely revisit and recommend!!!!
Great food! We got the queso fundito, five different tacos (pictured), Chile relenos (pictured), Quesadilla, A horchada, and coke and it was less than $75. Great little place, it’s a little small, but the food is outstanding. All the waitresses were very accommodating and courteous. Will definitely return!
It's a tiny hole in the wall. The food is great but the service is slow. Not the place to go if you're in a hurry.Updated for 2022...Still great food. Still slow service and small space. They have a new menu and didn't have the burrito I love anymore. :-( I got the vegetarian nachos and the vegetarian molcajete. The nachos were great. The molcajete was very flavorful but super messy and hard to eat. I gave up on using the tortillas and just ate it with a spoon. I forgot to take pictures.
The food was flavorless.
Excellent, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend!
Very good traditional Mexican food. Not Tex Mex. Food made with character.
I wish I could post about how great the food was, all the online reviews and photos look great. I had a reservation for cinco de mayo and arrived on time, ordered a few items from their limited menu for the holiday- and waited 1 hour and 20 minutes and only received water and complimentary nachos. We asked for a status update on the wait of our order, which was only 3 items, to be told it would be 10 more minutes. Meanwhile the table in the back that held take out ordered filled up and emptied again and again and again. No one else dining in received any food but all takeout ordered were fulfilled and there was a never ending line of people there to pick up their ready pick up orders. Finally, we left after 1 hour and 20 minutes after receiving none of the food we had ordered.
