This is for the property at 2349 West Marlton Pike Cherry Hill NJ. I had 2 rooms adjoining and 1 room was unacceptable as there was No air conditioning but since there was No phone, waited until morning 7:30 AM to ask for repair. We allowed them the day and when we returned, the front desk had No idea about the air conditioning issue so we had to go to the room to see for ourselves and would need to return to the front desk if the AC was not functioning still. It is no wonder the AC struggles with the filthy filters in the ceiling. The room is dimly lit with ripped shades on all 3 lamps; the curtains did not open properly. The refrigerator did nor work, there was No “do not disturb” sign and No blow dryer. Given there was no phone in either room, we did not spend time going to the front desk for each issue. We had work to do. The luggage carts we were told were unavailable but upon our insistence to check, found them secured in a room under lock and key. Towels were refused to us by the attendants in the hallway and with NO English would not offer to bring them. The front desk promised towels but on the 3rd attempt to get towels, we insisted they bring the towels to the front desk while we wait. The apologies felt empty and rang hollow when we alerted them to the ceiling crumbled on our hallway floor. The closets are thick with dust. There was a time I felt confident that I would have a safe and pleasant stay at Hilton and especially a Double Tree facility; not anymore. The final issue is that there were dogs in the lobby that had no markings that said they are support animals. We look for pet free hotels for health reasons. It was unacceptable to see the front desk people make no attempt to maintain the promise of being a pet free facility. I will post an update if Hilton makes some amends.

When we checked in the front desk clerk barely said 2 words to us gave us our key and we had to ask how to get to the elevators. Once we got in the room we checked out the bathroom and it looked like there was fire smoke on the wall and floor. We immediately called the front desk and they said they would be right up to look at it. No one showed up. A maintenance worker knocked on the door next to us and I went out and told him about it. He came in and took pictures of it and said he would report it. Never heard anything back. We went to use the pool walked all the way to the pool and the security guard said we needed wrist bands that the front desk clerk never gave to us. Had to wait in line to see the clerk again to finally get wrist bands. Asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was in a meeting and wouldn’t be done for 20 minutes. Finally left there to use the pool and the pool is in horrible shape peeling paint needed to be clean. I was disgusted with it. The entire experience has been horrible. If I wasn’t staying here more then 12 hours I would of asked for a refund and stayed anywhere other then there.

Nice hotel in a good location. Excellent front desk staff - especially Annie. Rooms need renovation. Shabby carpet had hole in it. Light bulb out over sink. Bathroom dark - maybe missing bulbs. Mirror on sliding closet door cracked. No microwave in the room. No hairdryer (had to ask for one). Large room with empty corner where chairs or table could have been. Bathtub needs replacing. Room had a nice river view. Bed was comfortable. Very nice towels. Let us know when renovations are complete and we’ll be back. PS The delicious chocolate chip cookies we were given were a nice touch but didn’t make up for the shabby room.

My wife and 2 kids stayed at this property last week on a family vacation. We booked two rooms (connecting) for a total of 5 nights. On the 1st night of our stay after checking in we found black mold near the air vent. On top of that, we also found feminine hygiene products in the trash can as well as a few other items of garbage left on the floor by a previous guest. The FD when I called said, "maybe it's just a stain in the ceiling" but a maintenance team member came down and confined and suggested for us to move rooms. In our new room, one of the AC units did not work. The maintenance team member came back and took about 1 minute to attempt to fix it which he did not do and i called back down stating the issue and he came back with a large industrial fan. then while I was looking for a new hotel for our family to stay at around 11:30 at night the front desk agent checked in another guest to our room. I am shocked that Hilton allows this property to continue to fly the flag of one of their brands as this hotel is in MAJOR need of a complete renovation and doesn't even come close to DoubleTree standards.

The rooms are old and dirty, Be ready for the AC not working, the ceiling peeling, the shower tubs peeling. GROSS. There is no blowdryer in the rooms, the chair in the room had STAINS on it. The phones don't work, it's just there for show. The floors were sticky in the lobby, the front desk, had 1 really nice guy working there, and then we were left with a woman, who was far from welcoming. Hilton should remove their name from this hotel or shut it down and reno the whole hotel.

Older hotel that Hilton will update! Marijuana smelled throughout my hallway on 9th floor. Looking forward to renovations but that should take some time as this is a large hotel. Breakfast was ok as I had fruit and yogurt…All is needed is properly trained staff..Management needs to empower employees to guarantee client satisfaction.

My family tried to stay here but as soon as we made it to our room, our ac was not working and it was extremely hot. We went to the front desk to request a new room. However they told us we needed to have maintenance come and try to fix it before they moved us. After a long day of travel we just needed rest so we decided to prop the door and window open. However, after 30 minutes of waiting in our hot room we tried using our hotel phone to call the desk and it didn't work either! At that point we decided to just get a refund. We'll see if that's pain free. As diamond members we expected better treatment than this.

The absolute best part of this hotel is the wonderfully friendly staff. The people behind the counter were friendly and cordial, the bartenders at embers were friendly. That will definitely have me coming back. Yes, and the window treatments are a bit dated and the bathroom looks dated but the water pressure was great, the digital thermostat in the room had the temperature perfect for us. This place was $100 less a night compared to the other places around it. It is absolutely worth staying here.\\nThe view from the 14th floor is great

The hotel seems alright enough, albeit pretty dated. Friendly staff but woefully understaffed it would seem.\\n\\n** UPDATE TO BELOW, changed from 1 to 3 stars: I was finally moved to a different room, an upgraded suite which would be great for a big group but was fine for just me… appreciate the help of those working the evening shift… but it is clear these folks are stretched thin. The hotel seems busy — hire more people!!\\n\\n* PREVIOUS FEEDBACK: Noticed the morning after I checked in that my shower handle was disassembled and the parts laying on the shower floor. So skipped a shower which for me is a rare occurrence. Reported this to front desk at 7am. Returned 12 hours later to find that someone had put the pieces back together but still no water comes out. Called the front desk who insisted someone would be right up to solve it. I am still waiting.\\n\\nI am a Hilton Diamond member, I travel often for work and make a point to stay at Hilton properties. Because they are consistently better than this. Very frustrated right now. Functional bathroom is a basic component of a hotel stay.

Awful experience at the Doubletree in Camden. The rooms were some of the dirtiest I have ever seen, with outdated furniture and fixtures that were literally falling off the wall. The ceiling in our bathroom had some serious issues and was definitely never repaired by a professional. Dust and who knows what else everywhere. The restaurant is only open at odd times and the food was sub-standard. We, nor anyone else in our group, received maid service at all over the 3 night stay. The price at $300 a night is a joke, but even $50 a night would've been too much. We were with a large group for high school rowing nationals happening at thee park 1/2 mile away, thinking this would be great from a location standpoint. By the end everyone could only laugh at how horrible it was. This experience has seriously tarnished my opinion of the Hilton brand. I can't believe they would put their name on this dump. Stay elsewhere, even if this seems like the perfect location. You can stay at a very nice hotel across the river in Philadelphia for the same price (or less!)
