My brother stumbled across this little gem, and I am so glad he did. The atmosphere is comfortable and familiar. Our server was quiet but professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and being from Jersey our bar is set pretty high for calamari quality. The calamari was very lightly battered, firm to the tooth, and tasted very fresh and not fishy. I was so surprised to see a sausage and broccoli rabe pizza on the menu, but as it is one of my favorite pairings we chose it. DELICIOUS! It is far from home, but if I ever find myself in that area again, I will definitely pay them a visit!
Tried their fresh mozzarella and buffalo chicken pizzas. Both “good” but nothing amazing.
the food here was absolutely amazing, i wish i could give more stars!! we ordered the speidini alla romana, fried calamari, shrimp francese and veal parm with pink sauce, which was served with the most delicious bread. it was all delicious really, and the portions were extremely generous. we finished it off with the oreo cake, which had to be the best cake i think i’ve ever had in my life. i want to make this restaurant a weekly trip and recommend to all my friends!
If you’re going to charge me $3 for a topping make sure you actually put a good amount. They barely put any of the topping I asked for. Won’t be returning
Had dinner here with my wife and though food was good when I received the check, both dinner entrees were priced higher than menu price. I understand that everyone is faced with higher prices, but as a business you need to be transparent with your prices. Probably won't be back as that is not the right way to run a business!
Ordered a plain large pie and ravioli. Pizza was cooked properly but had the cheapest mozzarella I've had the displeasure of eating. Oily and salty, the pizza was barely edible. The ravioli was also trash. You're better off microwaving cheap canned ravioli. . Absurdly over priced for the low grade cafeteria food they serve
Love this place! We have consistently had the best pizza here. Their catered food is really good as well. They are very kind and accommodating to any changes we make from the menu.
A nice throwback to old school pizza parlors. Nothing too fancy. The pizza was very cheesy and a fresh slice definitely hit the spot. I'm taking away 1 star because there was a fly buzzing around, which is really annoying in any food establishment. Everything did look clean, but a fly just ruins the atmosphere. The people who helped me were very friendly. Received the food pretty quickly. Overall a great place to stop by for a quick slice.
Grandma pie!!!! We took a chance as we have been looking for a proper grandma pie for years. This is it! PERFECT. The Salumeria is to die for as well.
I like the crumbled sausage. Just right amount of doughy crust, though bread seemed a bit 'floury'. Will try to make it there for dinner.
