The menu is huge. Frankly, too big and reminds me the way old diners had single spaced listings of dishes page after page. Still, my salad was excellent and so was the bread pudding. Expect the latter to be the size of a shoe ?, definitely a sharable desert which was delicious. The atmosphere is casual, like an upscale sports bar, or the old TGIF updated for this century.
Went for a late lunch and had a fantastic experience. Staff was super nice. Drinks were great. Food was delicious. One hundred percent recommend stopping by Tommy’s. Their cocktails are pretty tasty. I liked the French Whitney which was nice and fruity. Their general tso’s cauliflower was delicious. Only thing was that the cauliflower wasn’t really cooked so it was a little crunchy. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was the best! Split into three different sandwiches, this chicken was so tender and a fantastic choice.Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. Indoor seating is pretty spaced especially on a weekday for lunch. Not all folks are wearing masks anymore but still felt comfortable eating indoors.
The food here is great. I especially like their Chicken Parmigiana, and they have three general tso seasoned cauliflower that tastes great. The atmosphere there is always friendly, and the staff members are great. The manager and/or owner always walks around to insure everyone's enjoying their food
First time visiting this location, we've been to the Princeton one before. This is one of my favorite chain restaurants. They offer a great selection of American Tavern classics and have a solid menu. A good amount of draft beer is available including some local craft brews.On our most recent visit we had Pizza for the first time here and I was really impressed. Ingredients tasted fresh and the sauce was great. My only complaint was I wish they went a little heavier on the premium toppings. We also ordered cheese curds, which the portion seemed a bit small for the price. But the taste of all the items we ordered was definitely 5/5.Service was also awesome. Our server was attentive and friendly, checked back often and ensured we had everything we needed. Also had the manager Andres visit our table which is nice to have management around to ensure everything is in order and proper.
Food was great, service was exceptional. The place was packed and they were seating people as soon as the last table left. Although there was a wait for seating, there is no way they could have been any more efficient at moving people in and out. It was actually quite impressive.
Prepare to be amazed!!! Such a wonderful menu. Pizza, BBQ, Sushi, Signature drinks, great ambiance, in door and heated outdoor seating.I could have ate there for weeks and not has the same delicious meal twice. Go!
Went to Tommy’s for dinner the other night, I ordered the southwest turkey burger and it was delicious. The cocktails were also great and they have a solid draft selection for beer. We had Derek as our server and he was so friendly and welcoming, he clearly knew the menu well and happily answered all of our questions with helpful suggestions. One of the best server interactions I’ve had in a long time, would come back here again for the service alone!
My husband and I had a great meal at Tommy’s on 11/4/2021. The food was very good but the service was the best part. Our server, Derek, explained how the restaurant is set up with three separate kitchens, each with their own menu. He showed us the drink menu and boasted that drinks and food were highly customizable. I wanted a different type of Mule and it was “no problem” and when it arrived, it was delicious! Our meals came out with the substitutions requested due to allergies and were quite enjoyable. The portions were as expected. Derek checked back with us to ensure our satisfaction and overall we were very happy.
The service and food was excellent. Our server, Derek made many excellent recommendations to accommodate my vegetarian diet. He was also really kind and his positive energy made the dining experience even more pleasurable. All the food came out fresh and more importantly nice and hot. Definitely recommend to other vegetarian and will be coming back!
This was my first time coming to Tommy’s Tavern and Tap. The service was excellent! The food is good, I had the wings which I was skeptical about but our waitress Derek reassured me that they were amazing and it was just that, simply amazing! Nice texture plus taste, and crisp. I loved it! The drinks are amazing too! Please ask for Derek as your waitress ?
