I used to go to this place pretty often as their tortillas were really good and I always got a simple quesadilla that’s pretty hard to mess up…However, any time I branched out from that simple order I wasn’t exactly blown away by their other food.Besides that, my 1 star review is well deserved after the experience I had when I ordered take out here for my family.I walked in, told the guy my name, and he handed me an order. I should have checked the items in the bag but unfortunately I didn’t realize until I got home that the order was not mine. When I went back, I walked in and when I told the employees that I was GIVEN the wrong order, they both gave me an attitude and acted like I STOLE the wrong order. They were mad because they had to remake the other person’s order who had come to pick up their order (which I now had). They blamed ME for the fact that the MANAGER gave me the wrong order. I had the two employees arguing with me about it and eventually the manager came out. Instead of apologizing for the confusing, he decided to chime in too even though he was the one who had mixed up our orders.I waited uncomfortably and my order was finally handed to me but this trip was such a pain!!!!Some people don’t realize how much customer service can affect the experience for a person. After being yelled at for “messing up” their night, I will happily never give them my business again!
Food was good. It was my 1st time in. I jyst didn't like that they made u buy the chips...I use to getting them free at a comparable restaurant
The Ugly - I am having the worst food poisoning of my life from this place. I had 23 diarrhea events the following day, 19 the next and now am at 7 on day three of this adventure. For those concerned, next on the docket is looking up the nearest Urgent Care. I can confirm it stems from Pancheros as my friend is struggling similarly and the only meal we have in common was at Pancheros. I missed 3 days of work because of one tasty (in fairness to them it was delicious) burrito. I actually enjoy my job and now will be behind on work. I also missed out on a couple beautiful days to be outside. I did not get hot sauce or anything outside of my normal burrito. The Bad - guac and queso are extra and the burrito came out to $15 which is a bit high. The Good - I have eaten here a few times. I like that they mix all the food together. The quality of the tortilla is great. One awful incident is more than enough to ruin my 4-5 other good experiences.
I went to Pancheros for take out for a chicken burrito. I did ask for double chicken, however, everything else was standard. When I went to checkout I was being charged just under $20 for 1 burrito. I called it out and the employee said “it’s cheap”. After reviewing my receipt, I was charged for triple chicken, extra guac, and queso which I never ordered. The employee knew what he was doing and decided to overcharge. I recommend never visiting the Pancheros in Bridgewater.
Burritos are large. Excellent food. Got take out.
I'm usually positively generous with my critique, but unfortunately this experience was not pleasant. The tacos were cold and the toppings obviously not fresh, possibly days old. If not, it appeared days old. For the quality, the price point was too high. What happened to greeting the customer and explaining the process? Our first visit and definitely our last. I suggest reviewing "best practice" policies. As a Latino customer I expect Latino businesses to raise the bar, for their sake. Good luck.
Edit: As of this week they have changed the Carnitas meat...it used to be slow roasted tender shredded pork - and now it's bite size chewy unseasoned cubes. Just gross! Bring back the other meat!! I will adjust my review if the nice meat returns..Just recently moved into the area and needed a great taco spot. This place is usually pretty good although a bit overpriced and you can't chose just one taco (they come in 2s). I love the queso and chips ? I wish Baja Fresh would come back lol
Always good food, always fresh tasting l. Friendly staff too.
Stingy with their burritos. Hills village center pancheros is much better.
Tortilla is great, but burrito filling is too salty.
