Been here over a dozen of times. We love Raymond and if you have been here you would know! Love their Wonton Soup, Shrimp Fried rice, General Tsao Chicken....
Lunch special is a great deal!! Got chicken and broccoli with fried rice. The fried rice was really bland and honestly subpar. (its the only reason this review gets 4/5). otherwise, food was yummy and servers were kind!
My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. Ate there regularly when I lived in the area. Now, that I've moved away, it's must on trips up to the area.
Always just drove right past this place after work. Took a chance and loved it! Really great food. Front desk guy is very helpful if you have any menu questions
We love house of wing! Love the boneless spareribs and dumplings! Tgd chips are sooo good. Several dinners we have had are excellent. Love the General Taos chicken, Mai fun, almost everything great. Good lunch prices! The waiter Tiny is excellent! We highly recommend!
I have never tasted better Chinese food, and it is ALWAYS delicious. The staff is so personable and competent. We are going tonight and I can't wait to eat there again! Casual and comfortable setting.
Went here for the first time last week. Relatively expensive and the food was disappointing. The pork egg rolls tasted like vegetable egg rolls with very little flavor. The portions seem small for the price. Kung pao chicken was disastrous. It came out more like a stew, extremely watery.The general Tso's chicken was the most disappointing. Most of the chunks we had was clumps of cornstarch rather than chicken. If I had to guess I'd say they used bits of thigh rather than large white meat chunks. I don't mind if I but when it's that small you just end up with huge pieces of fried starch rather than meat.I think the only thing we didn't have much of an issue with was the fried rice. It was nothing special but it wasn't bad either.It also took quite a bit of time to pick up the food. Using their website/deliverynow service was difficult and the text messages told us to be at the restaurant at a certain time to pick up. Ended up having to wait an extra 15 minutes at the restaurant which was a bit annoying with the child in the car.
Very unprofessional on the phone when they take your order. I asked for a lunch special with shrimp fried rice instead of pork fried rice they told me I can’t substitute I need to order it all separate. Then I proceeded to order beef and broccoli and I did not want soup I want an eggroll and said I would pay the difference he said no substitution of any kind we will not allow it. So I said if I don’t take the soup you will charge me last time since I need to pay for the April and he said no you will pay for both . Then he proceeded to tell me that I had the wrong Chinese please. But he is absolutely right will never come back here again I will continue to go to the best place ever golden star in South Bound Brook
Waited over an hour for a pickup order only to get my food & my fried rice was burnt! My dumplings were green & my fried chicken wings were 3 cut into 6 pieces to be charged for an overall order of 6! This place of OVERRATED & highly expensive for NO REASON! If you want REAL QUALITY Chinese food go to Golden Star in South Bound Brook ? you won't be disappointed! I'll never come here again! Just a waist of money ???
