been here quite a few times and never disappointed! the food is excellent and the ice cream is delicious! staff is always very friendly

This review is for the ice cream. Anybody that knows me knows that I'm a huge fan of banana ice cream and banana flavored desserts. My mom got me a pint of the Roasted Banana flavor. This is hands down the best I've EVER had! I live about an hour away, but I'm trying to figure out how I can get there for another pint. This is place is a must visit for me now that I've had the ice cream.
Great place. Awesome ice cream. We had my father's 80th birthday dinner there. They've streamlined the menu and really works. Everything was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend!
We love going to this place!The 4 star review is due to an incredibly rude exchange that I witnessed between a supervisor and his employee. She was doing her best, to keep up with the rush of people on a beautiful spring evening and doing quite well. He was speaking down to her and distracting her while she was trying to work. She was acknowledging what he was saying and he stopped her and said ‘don’t wave me off’ or something to that effect. I was hoping that I would have her serve me, because I intended to give her a generous tip for putting up with that garbage.Anyway, if you see this, you did a great job, and I suggest you walk out on that horrible boss.Otherwise, the ice cream is amazing

Restaurant is fine. It has kind of a diner vibe. Decent food but nothing to rave about or must try. Just fine and homely.The ice cream on the other hand is out of this world. Large selection of base flavors, and usually half a dozen seasonal flavors that are to die for. They also have vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and sugar free options. Good prices and also a great local family management atmosphere.My favorite is the black raspberry truffle but their seasonal kegnogg gingersnap is a close second.
I've been going here for a little over a year and have never had a bad meal. Portions are generous and staff is always friendly. The ice cream is made in house, flavors can be a little bizarre but delicious.
