The food the food was good. It was a little pricey but not extremely unreasonable.
Went there when I first moved here. I asked if they actually had PO Boys and got a blank stare back. When I asked again the lady said she had no idea what that was. When I explained the name of the business and what it was she said she didn’t care. I swore I’d never go back. If you don’t care about your food or understand where you work then I don’t care either. Response to the owner, a Po Boy is not a Louisiana seafood restaurant, it's a type of sandwich and being a sub shop named after them you would think you would know that. You basically proved my point. Here is the definition, A poor boy (also po boy) is a traditional sandwich from Louisiana. It almost always consists of meat, which is usually roast beef or fried seafood, often shrimp, crawfish, fish, oysters or crab. The meat is served on New Orleans French bread, known for its crisp crust and fluffy center. The photo below is of an oyster po boy (not made by this place) and as you can see, it's not a restaurant. Kind of looks like a sub right?
Just bought a tuna melt from there and it was HORRIBLE. It tasted like pure salt. Not sure how anyone could think that was edible.
Good food. Nice size and a nice selection. Puts Jersey Mike's to shame with both.
Had the Hot Italian sandwich which was magical. Rick uses his custom dressing which is an Italian Grandma’s pride!! This guy knows how to make a Sammy!!
Food is very good and the staff was very friendly.
As life long resident's of Brick, this place is definitely NOT the Poor Boys we are used to. They messed up our order, the new owner was very rude and after spending almost $57.00 on three subs, they were awful. NEVER AGAIN POOR BOYS!!!
They do a good job. Everything tastes good. Place is clean. Can't wait to go back maybe i will give 5 stars then. Sub rolls are not as good as new york.
I had a 6 foot sandwich catered for an event and although I paid $125 for the sandwich, I have to say they did stuff it with meat. The bread was good not Brooklyn bread good but good. Still one of my favorite sandwich spots when I’m in the area.
great sandwiches, fried pickles and macaroni salad! highly recommend
