No breading on the chicken, pieces were so small I thought the thigh was a wing, and last but not least the over priced rolls.I wanted to try something new but what a waste of time and money.This place specializes in chicken but shop rite makes way better chicken.If I just wanted stale hard chicken dropped in oil I wouldve made it myself at home.
So I have to say… I was hesitant. I read the reviews. It took me 7+ years of living here to try this place. The reviews about being cooked in dirty oil and the cook being angry… all true. I’m sorry to say. I was disappointed with the food. I paid a lot, and it was not worth it. Your better off going to Popeyes or KFC. I don’t even like KFC, but this chicken had to be sopped up with a paper towel. Don’t waste your time.
I have been looking for good fried chicken since I moved from NY and finally I have found it...and not expensive either...I will be making this a weekly dinner
A royal farms is supposed to open down the road for the last three years I have never had royal farms and they're supposed to be the best fried chicken in the country I cannot believe they could ever be chicken town and I know fried chicken.
Not a fan of this place. Ordered food from there last night could not believe how expensive they have become. It was almost $100 for a family dinner and some sides. For that money, the chicken should be spectacular. Unfortunately, it was very greasy and it tasted like fish, perhaps the oil was old. Will not be returning there anytime soon. Also, beware their prices on their website are entirely different, when you get to the store they have all the prices blocked out and changed to a higher cost.
Not a fan. Chicken pieces are super small. The chicken smells like it's been over cooked in dirty oil. Front desk is slow to acknowledge that you are even there. Food was ready in 15 minutes. I came back to get my order. They didn't even look up to acknowledge I was there. I saw my order inside a plexiglass case. Since this was my first time there and no one acknowledged I was there, I asked if I should reach in the case to get my order since I already paid. One of the male cooks said in a very stern and cocky tone .... YOU CAN HAVE YOUR FOOD WHEN I HAND IT TO YOU...I dont want to argue with anyone especially infront of my kids. I never been there before and never will again. Left there insulted infront of my kids. Like I should know their routine when I never been there before and no one acknowledged I was at the front desk waiting for my food. Rude. Food extremely small cooked in dirty oil. Way past hold times. Customer service terrible. .No competition for Kentucky fried chicken. I wanted to shop local. To give back to community. Cook was not nice. Front desk oblivious to customers. Food low quality.
Service sucks, Cook always mad, but you know what ive been in those shoes, busy place, only 1 cook, id be angry too, lol. Food is great so 5 stars.
Bad. Chicken cooked in burnt oil. Gave me a stomach ache. If I wasn't with my coworkers I would not have eaten as much as I did. I recommend that no one eat there. The only way scammers like this change is by not paying them. I regret my participation.

Get the zesty wings. They're breaded and pretty good. Get.some Buffalo sauce on the side. The regular wings are average. They're naked and fried. Nothing special.
