Entered diner about 6pm. Got our drinks fast enough. Took about 20 minutes to put in our food order. Waitress seemed usure of herself. After waiting about 25 minutes we received our food order. One of the order was wrong. Another 20 minutes to fix the wrong order. The waitress finally told us she was brand New. We got desserts to go. They didn't have proper réceptacle. Manager gave attitude. I suspect because we interrupted his meal with pals in the booth across from check out. We have been to the lunchtime crowd many times with great service.
Portions were big, fresh, and hot. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Check came out to $73 and some cents. (judge if that's expensive or not amongst yourself lol) Left a tip the waiter was nice, helped get everything we needed no complaints. All staff encountered were nice people. No complaints.
Waitress was nice although did not tell us the side of meatballs came with 5 lol. Wish they had milk alternatives for the coffee. Food was good. Prices were okay.
Clean quick and good portions. Reasonable prices for this classic diner who is surviving in an area where there's not too many still in business. (For me is a good sign)
I love it here. The food is outstanding. The wait staff is so friendly and accommodating. Everyone makes sure the customers are happy.
Compared to other diners it is just ok. Cost for what you get is a little high and just average taste.
Waitress was on point. Friendly, quick, and was great with the kids.Food was good. They even gave the girls these HUGE cookies because ate their entire meals. It was cute and heck they even through the boys some cookies too because they were eyeing them up.I can’t comment on pricing because my Brother-in-law paid ? -Thank you Jake. When come back down to South Jersey we’ll make a point to stop here.
Very snobby manager, went to pick up a door dash order and was very rude and disrespectful. But when one of his fellow “kin” walked through the door he was all nice and welcoming. Unless you know the place do not come here expecting a great service. Another thing, customer asked for a slice of cake and the manager who I think is named PETE, touched it with his hands. Did not bother to wash it or put on some type of hand wear, could’ve easily picked it up with the knife as well but decided to place his dirty hands. Leaving a 1 star may not be fair because I have yet to eat here but with that attitude I will most definitely be petty and leave this review here to sit. Hope anyone reading this can vouch for me in the future.
There service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich which was ok. But it was the matzo ball soup that was really what I enjoyed. And the fries were cooked just right. Not too crispy and not too soggy.
The food was very good and the staff was very friendly, even though they were working Christmas day. Thank you for being open Christmas day, as we had to take a family friend to the hospital it changed our Christmas dinner plans. Thank you for treating us like family. Highly recommend this diner.
