awesome bar staff, great happy hour, seats at bar not all jammed in shoulder to shoulder, and Wed is also lobster special night! upgraded fries to truffle fries...home run 100% recommend!!!
Always a great time when we go to Beacon! Great food, fun, friends - and always a great vibe with the atmosphere, local musicians, or just the best bar tenders and staff!

The food is cheaper than I expected which is nice but it's also just okay food. The service is friendly but super slow. I'm not sure how loud it is near the entrance but in the back bar area it gets so loud especially when there is music that you have to shout to hear the person next to you and you leave with a headache. We got oysters and whoever shucked them clearly was not trained and never shucked before because they came out butchered. Looked like they fed it to a dog and the dog chewed it up and spit it on the shell. Lots of sand too. Some pieces were even on the wrong side of the shell lol. Don't let people touch shellfish who have no business touching shellfish or any proper training.
Went for dinner and drinks with a friend and Although the place was busy, it only a few minutes wait, giving us a chance to enjoy a drink. It's Relaxing out back by the water and bartender was super friendly and attentive. Same for our waitress. The food was delicious. We had an appetizer Calamari & then shared Shrimp tacos & the Beacon sliders & Truffle fries, nice and hot! Definitely recommend. Next time only 1 item so we can get dessert, but really good and looking forward to trying more items from the menu.
My husband and I went to Beacon 70 for the first time tonight. The happy hour $1.00 blue point oysters were great. The bartenders Jules and Angel were super friendly and poured ice cold glasses of Pinot Grigio.The beef short rib nachos and ahi tuna bruschetta were delicious. We'll definitely be going back.
My son and I are at the Shore so he picked up this place for us to eat. The place was great, bustling with people having a good time. The seating provided a bit of social distancing for those concerned about covid. My Kale salad with salmon was excellent. Looked and felt fresh a d delicious. I could not say the same a out my son's burger. It was kind of so so. We had IPA which was not bad. The price of food for a bar was slightly high but it was worth it given the overall experience
My wife and i ordered food through door dash and her fish was pretty good. My cheeseburger I ordered was not cooked. I took two bites and when i got towards the middle of the beef patty, I pulled off this piece. Fries were actually pretty good and still crunchy even though it was delivered.
We had a great time at Beacon 70, as the service as well as the food was great. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because between the music and the crowd, it was very noisy and hard to hear ourselves talk. Went night before Mother’s Day and only had to wait about 15 min for a table for two. They only take reservations for large parties. Sangria was the best, and highly recommend fish tacos and “Oceana Linguine”, which was packed with shellfish! Lovely girls at reception and excellent waiter. Will definitely come again!
Whoever hasn’t had this, do yourself a favor. It’s the fig and panchetta pizza. Tell them to hold the arugula, we don’t need salad on our pizza. Have it this way. It’s going to blow your mind. They should win an award for this! It’s a sin NOT to try it, but I deserve the credit for telling them to hold the arugula. Just helped you make the best pizza ever!
