Love breakfast at the plaza diner, try their grits! Still as busy as always, their quality is consistently great
Food not bad. I only ate breakfast a couple of times.
By far the worst diner I've ever eaten at. Not only did they get 80% of my order wrong, I asked for eggs with cheese SCRAMBLED INSIDE of the eggs. They put the cheese on top of my eggs...as well as inside my waffle. Yes INSIDE my waffle. Gave them multiple chances. This isn't the first time they've messed up my order. This is unacceptable.
Staff is ok. Too old though, accept for two younger waitresses. Spanish waitress is short and stout and too busy on her cell phone not worried to much about customers. I Ordered breakfast and because she was too busy on her phone didn't bring it to me while it was hot. Also old Spanish lady with Dyed red hair left one of her Red hairs in my Breakfast.Honestly while they are mostly friendly and breakfast is preety good they do need to focus on being attentive to customers and follow NJ Health Codes and all wear Nets.
The Plaza Diner is a classic New Jersey diner. The food is yummy and filling.This diner can reached by Newark light rail and many buses like the #11, #28 and the #29.
Always good to go there especially when u want to eat your food in peace
Not such a good place to eat unless you maybe just want to grab an egg sandwich, all I am going to say is that the food was either extremely dry or full of oil...
