I was in search for a sushi spot that served good and fresh sushi. I'm so glad I accidently bumped into Momoya. Sushi was fresh and servers were all pleasant. Can't wait to go back with all my friends!!
I been living in Bloomfield for many years and after trying Momoya, they king of set the bar for great tasting sushi. After introducing my wife to this place it quickly became her favorite even after trying many different places during trips or vacation. Thank you to the Momoya family for everything you do. I am glad they survived the last 2 years which were hard on a lot of family owned businesses. Peace and love ??♂️ ??❤️
Sushi is very fresh and the plates r very nicely plated
Best sushi place get the mango crab! We always come here to pick up from here when we’re craving sushi. Never a let down.
Overall, the quality of the meal was very high. The service was good too, buy nothing out of the ordinary. Also, the ambiance was very nice. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy at all. The price of the meals seem relatively pricey but not outrageous, so be prepared to spend a few dollars more for a tasty meal.
Really disappointed. I had ordered delivery for my family of 4 and was then after the fact was told they wouldn't deliver. No where on the website does it say the limitations of their delivery. That would have been appreciated. Instead my family took the time to look at the menu, go through the process, ordered and was eagerly waiting to only be told "we don't deliver" with absolutely no apology.

A Little Gem of a place that offers an Extensive list of Choices for every Asian food lover.
I needed to go to the pet shop in Brookdale to pick up an item, and then decided to walk back to the center of town via Broad street. I also had ever intention of having lunch, and looked through the window of one of my favorite restaurant called Pandang. Howeve they looked super busy, and I kept walking. I arrived in front of Momoya which looked empty. The young hostess told me I could sit anywhere, and then a very nice waitress came to give me the menu. I ordered a few items, and a little later was brought a bowl of udon noodels with shrimp. The reception that I rreceived from this older Asian woman was extremely cold. While I was eating across from the shushi chefs, they both kept laughing, and I had a feeling that the joke was on me. Another young couple walked in, and they were greeted, followed by someone who was ordering take out, and he was given a greeting. By this time the two sushi chefs had stopped laughing, and were busy at work filling in the orders. When I got up to leave, the message I received was that my kind is not welcomed in their establishment. It is also fair to say that Asian food is my favorite, and I have eaten in a variety of restaurants from Chinatown, NYC, to Bangkok Thailand, and never did ever get that kind of feeling.
Nice place. We dined in and everything looked clean and sanitary. Social distancing is being followed here and employees are masked up. We had Tuna roll, California roll, and Spider roll with a fried gyoza appetizer. Everything tasted fresh and good. Interior is pretty and has some nice Japanese mural artwork on the wall. Reasonable prices. Will come again.
