I love their 3 roll lunch special especially the salad that comes with it. Its just the right amount of dressing without an overpowering flavor. All of their rolls are fantastic. Their sweet potato tempura is my favorite and its always perfectly crispy! Plus, the employees are always so sweet. I would highly recommend this place.
The only reason i am giving it 2 stars is because of the lack of customer service. I really wanted to give them one star. I called and placed an order for pick for over $140. I called later to add and modify my order and no one picked up, there was no dial tone. I was so annoyed and frustrated. When i got to the place the lady told me yeah we turned off the phones! WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT. Soo ridiculous. I had to wait more time for my food because they decided to turn off the phones! I wanted to add lore sushi and she told no its going to be more wait ,Horrible! . I was trying to do something nice for mothers day and this horrible service had to ruin it Should really check themselves!
Decent japanese place. Generous servings and fresh sashimi. Be warned though if you dine on a weekend serving will take a bit long even for sashimi orders.
Very nice lunch. Good quality sushis. Typical Japanese lunch. As expected. Nice little find in the middle of Bloomfield. Will be back
The sushi was very fresh even down to the nori. I had the California and shrimp tempura roll. The tempura was light, crunchy and didn't overwhelm the shrimp. The California roll was tasty and delicious.
I wish had tried Aki sooner. Not one of the other-not to be named-sushi restaurants I have tried since moving from NYC has even come close to how good it was. The fish was super fresh and expertly sliced. Service was friendly. The prices were quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food. I can’t wait to go back and/or order takeout!
We frequent this Sushi restaurant. They have indoor dining available. It's a welcoming and warm environment. They have many specialty rolls but so far the precious roll and jumbo oioli rolls are our favorites. Always fresh ingredients. They are a byob establishment conveniently located next to a liquor store. We like to bring our own Sake and they warm it up for us. The service is always fast and friendly. It has always been a positive experience here.
Nice little place.Stated with the Miso soup and ginger salad. Both were very good. Nice flavor.Friend ordered chicken and steak combo hibachi. Stated it was very good.I ordered 2 rolls....Completely forgot the names....Both had eel...One had mango inside the other had soybean wrap which I changed to seaweed. They were both absolutely delicious and had a very fresh taste.Fried green tea ice cream awesomeWill definitely go back
The inside is very nice and has good ambience. Can have a great time with someone and a bottle of wine.The sushi just didn't deliver the flavor I look for in sushi.
Always have a great experience here. The exotic bomba dessert is also delicious. Definitely recommend this place!
