Used to have to travel to find great birria, now I can have it in walking distance. Food is fresh and delicious.

I really enjoy their food and dining experience. The elotes and nachos are ordered as apps every time I go because I enjoy it so much. I also really like their flan. Recently I ordered the fish tacos, and ohmygosh it looked so beautiful and they were just as delicious. The drinks were great, strong, and the staff were nice. I like the different movies they have playing and it's quite amusing to anticipate what they'll decide every time I go. I don't know how many times I've gone already, because they're a regular for me.
Food was decent but the service really sucks here lately. I’ve been coming to mezcals since I lived in Bayonne and still take the drive up there since I moved. But last night topped it and I won’t be back. We get there, seated, it’s 10 mins before someone even approaches us for drinks. But other patrons are checked on every couple of minutes or so. After we got our food, no one came and checked on us, I had to signal someone over to order another drink, which itself took ages to the point I had to cancel that drink order and ask for the check because it was simply too much. It wasn’t busy as there were ample people behind the bar on their phones. There were about three to four tables empty so no- it wasn’t that busy for such poor service. Go to the Bayonne location at your own risk. And also, they charge gratuity for three or more folks in your party. Didn’t happen to us but the table next to us. I don’t mind paying extra for great customer service but that, what I got last night- nope.
The food here was amazing. The guacamole was truly the best I’ve ever tasted, and everyone at our table was so happy with the meal and the prices were quite reasonable. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star review is because of how LOUD this restaurant is. Music with heavy bass plays so loudly you can barely hear yourself think, and having any kind of conversation is very difficult. I would order out from this place and the atmosphere is so nice with the candles, flowers and mood lighting, but the volume of the music was just a total downer. The service was also so so, our waitress forgot to give some people at our table water and didn’t refill unless we asked.
Food has that authentic Mexican culture taste. The food was delicious. Comfortable, n classic. One of a kind. The cost and amount of food was beyond expect. You have to visit.
How is this only 9$?? Got Lunch Special: Thursday Tortas in Carnitas. Carnitas was a little bit fatty but it was giant and delicious. I thought it would be half the size.
If you are going to eat at this place, do not ever order online. It always comes an hour late and the delivery drivers don't know what they are doing. They called me telling me that they are here for delivery and I have been standing outside for the past 15 minutes in the rain and no one has shown up at my house. If you are going to have your staff do delivery, at least have competent people who know where they are going.
