Stayed at the Claridge for one night this weekend- my boyfriend and I rented a king bed room. The room was nothing special, but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, the temperature was nice, the bathroom was clean and windows that you could see the boardwalk from. Location of the Claridge is great, near most casinos and only a 3-5 minute walk to the boardwalk! There was a little gym with a Smith machine and a nice heated pool for our use. Also an arcade with air hockey, claw machines, games, and more. We had requested late checkout upon our arrival and was told the fee for this was $15. We were satisfied with this and went to check out at 2pm, 3 hours after the normal checkout time, and we were told it was actually $15 per hour so we had to pay a $45 fee…which we only found out upon returning to our room where our key had been deactivated and door locked. Also upon visiting the pool there were 3 cockroaches in the pool bathrooms. The room walls are thin and could hear our neighbors doors slamming open and shut all night, as well as the ballroom party going on on a completely different floor. Mediocre experience, nothing special but not totally miserable. Would recommend for a short low stakes stay but nothing special.

I enjoyed my stay at the The Claridge. The hotel has a classic feel that hasn't been updated too much by the outside (that's either a positive or negative for you) but don't worry, the rooms have definitely been updated and they're very nice! It is not flashy like other hotels and if you're looking for a hotel without a casino and having to walk past all the noises and bells when you walk to your room, this hotel is for you. The staff was very nice, the room was clean! The elevators were a bit slow and the windows were small compared to other hotels on the boardwalk but overall, we enjoyed this stay.

Overpriced for the quality. Let's be honest, the hotel is really old and not renovated. Elevators are very slow and make noises. Good luck trying to find the stairs, and if you do, they look like creepy places you see in movies. The stairs lead you out to the street, not inside the hotel.Check in is at 4 PM. We got there after 5 PM and the room is not ready. They only gave us a complimentary $25 for the bar, which drinks are super expensive so good luck.Whirlpool room was nice but there was a small centipede crawling across the floor.I called for 1 hour late check out, and they did not want to listen or negotiate. They just kept saying no.The rooftop does have a nice view but it is an overpriced old hotel.

wish I could give it NO starts.. there was a bucket of foul smelling liquid and stuff from the ceiling falling in the pool area. our charging ports and plugs did not work on the bedside table neither did our phone in the room. we also never received fresh towels but cleaning staff came and took some dirty ones from our room??... didn't understand the point of that. every time I went and requested more towels at the front desk none came to the room. elevators shook A LOT was worried it would drop us. Our room and the entire floor we stayed on smelled like smoke which it is a non smoking hotel I also overheard other guest complaining about this as well. and how dirty their rooms were. We had extremely rude customer service. The lady never told me she was having issues with my credit card and kept swiping it and it caused my card and all accounts to lock because it looked like fraud and finally said something after swiping it 4-5 times. had to sit on the phone for an hour to unlock all my accounts. Then she proceeded to blame me even after the rep on the phone explained that swiping it that many times can cause it to lock. We had A LOT of mold in our shower (which I have documentation/videos) and roaches in the room and pool area. and they are denying me a refund after telling me I had to contact Expedia and Expedia's request was denied as well.A reply to the owner... I called and spoke to the manager who told me because I could not remember the name of the staff at the front desk he could not help me. Was extremely dismissive and offered no help. Didn't even need a refund but at least some type of compensation as me and my boyfriend were extremely uncomfortable and it was his birthday and our anniversary. The dispute has already been filed on the charges.

I am not even sure where to start with this hotel. If I could give it 0 stars I would. When you first enter the hotel the doors are hard to open and super heavy. Secondly if you are oh a high up floor expect to wait 20 mins plus for an elevator and once on you will stop on almost every floor if not every floor. The place is overall out dated from the pool area to the rooms. Also when going into the room it was a weird smell. We also needed more towels and when calling down to get towels they said someone would be there “eventually” nobody ever came. Only positive is that I only stayed for 1 day. This place needs major upgrades and renovations. Please look somewhere else to stay if you are thinking about staying here it’s not worth it

The women who checked us in Delilah was very welcoming an she went far beyond what was asked of her. She rearrange our reservation to put our party right next door with an amazing view. The whole front desk team both day an eveninging was very helpful.

Great, nostalgic hotel close to the Boardwalk casinos. Rooms are spacious and clean. No extraneous noises to keep you up at night, either. The connectors to Bally and Caesars is convenient. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Fantastic pool and exercise room. Rooftop bar is spectacular.

From the front desk customer service to the Cafe gift shop everybody was working wonderful. The bartenders on the rooftop were so nice and welcoming. The twenties restaurant staff were wonderful. And to the Cafe gift shop worker who had a smile at 7 30 am and welcoming, it made all the difference in the world. Security staff was great. Every one had such excellent customer service! The roo.ms were beautifully cleaned , immaculate. The pool was great.Truly loved Claridge! ?body was

Stayed 3 nights for a convention also at the Claridge. There was no hot water in half of our rooms the whole weekend. Food was expensive and VERY disappointing. First day the chicken parm and vegetables were cold. Not enough desserts for everyone. Second day, it was supposed to be beef, but it did not taste like beef and the meat has shiny colors on it (green/yellow). Many people could not eat it. There was no decaf coffee available. The one star I gave is for the bed. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was clean.

Decent rooms and nice pool but my credit card was charged a deposit more then my room and stay even was. I was also charged $17.00 dollars a day parking even though I was staying there. The girl working the parking booth was there but I still had to do everything myself on a machine so what is the point in paying workers who are not even doing the job. When all was said and done for the price I paid to stay here I could have stayed at a lot nicer place.
