We were looking for a place to grab drinks and hang out, so we stopped at Rum Point to give it a try. On first appearance the place looks fun and has a great view of the bay. Unfortunately the $14 strawberry basil lemonade cocktail was awful and no one knew how to make it. they asked to see my menu for the ingredients and then went to the back to locate the lemonade. It tasted like basil water. It had no flavor of strawberry, lemon, or vodka. My husband got a margarita and it was very sweet, probably made from premixed margarita. The bar top was extremely sticky, the wait staff/bartenders were no where to be found after they dropped off our drinks and the one other customer in the place was complaining to the manager about her bad raw seafood. I honestly stopped drinking my drink after a few sips for fear of getting sick, I would never eat here.
The staff are friendly and the place has a great view of the ocean, just don't expect craft cocktails or bartending knowledge beyond the basics - I asked for a cocktail recommendation and was offered a rum & coke. Only craft beer option was Sam Adams Boston Lager. Kitchen was closed. I was there for a work event, and I don't know if we were there on an off night or what.
Wish there was a rating higher than outstanding. Everything was perfect--ambiance, friendly service, food cooked perfectly. Also wish this place wasn't closing.
Excellent food prompt service and friendly staff

Somewhat over priced but good food service was good
snow crab legs were very small, well over cooked, extremely soft, not good! I've had them on Buffets that were a whole lot better. Geez!
