First time in Atlantic City, and came across Mike B's Cafe for a quick eats. The menu has a wide variety of options but I wanted to try to something different. As soon as I walked in the older gentleman acknowledged me and took my order. I ordered the Whiting and Waffle and came out to me $11.73. The waffle was extremely soft and delicious.while the whitings had some good seasoning but the flavor was still lacking. Overall, service was quick and the guy was really nice. I wouldn't definitely recommend to try if anyone is ever in Atlantic City.
Stop at mikes because of the reviews. Wife ordered biscuits and gravy. There was something off about the gravy. It smelled bad, needless to say she didnt eat it. Cook kinda gave a “look” when he came to pick up plates. Grits were great.Service was great. Just be cautious with gravy.Otherwise a nice place.
The pictures don't really do any justice to how good the food was! Definitely reminds me of my grandma's cooking. This place is a hidden gem on Atlantic City.
Came all the way from NY & we wanted a nice brunch spot so i just googled a place & came across MIKE B’s CAFE. This is definitely a hidden gem, the food was amazinggggggg ! I order chicken & waffles & a BaconEgg&Cheese , i was so astonished.. i wanted moreeeee but i already left . It was sooo good. That chicken is one of the best wings ive tasted in a while. The BaconEgg&Cheese was sooooo good , the only reason im not giving him 5 Stars is bcus i just wish it was a better dine in environment, if i ate there, I would have definitely bought more food. However I didnt feel comfortable staying there bcus a man was just too loud & obnoxious.. which is maybe okay for the regulars but not the tourist. anyways Mike, the food is amazinggg ! so HIGHLY RECOMMEND! GO THERE GUYS. Ill be here anytime I go to AC.
I work for Cranez Inc, we perform alot of crane lift jobs in A.C. we happen to be working at City Hall which is across the street from Mike B's Cafe. The cleanliness of the Cafe & kitchen cooking area is PHENOMENAL. The breakfast & lunch food is GOOD like your eating out of your GRANDMOTHERS kitchen. Thanks Mike for your GREAT SERVICE, you definitely have our business when we're visiting or on Crane job in ATLANTIC CITY.
Extra long wait. Understaffed. Asked not to sit while waiting for food despite the fact we waited over a hour. Originally was planning to dine in but since we waited so long we changed to take out and was asked to stand. And when we finally got our food, it was horrible. Beef bacon which is $1 extra was burnt. The eggs were okay. The grits were the buttery instant kind. The pancakes were the best thing there that we had but after this one I'll try somewhere else.
The soul food platter was delicious. Best fried whiting and mac and cheese that I've ever had. Prices are reasonable and the amount of food is alot. I was able to share my platter with my husband.

Wonderful place. Mike is the real deal. His food is excellent. The Omelette was loaded with fresh vegetables and the potatoes were cooked just perfectly. Mike is also a very friendly and warm-hearted person. If you're looking for a good meal this is the place to go.
I came with my friends after a night of drinking and the food was perfect. Never had a better brunch burger. Very very good food, waitress was also super nice. I am definitely coming back whenever I go to AC.
