I’m a residential student at Stockton University on the AC campus so my friends and I have taken the short 4 minute walk to this small business about 5 times after discovering it only a week ago.Don’t even get me started on the tasty ice cream. I get the same thing every time; banana split boat all soft serve vanilla with extra strawberries instead of pineapples. And every time I’ve ordered it- it has just tasted better and better and they are very generous with how much ice cream they put in the boat especially when it’s only 6.25??? Oh I can go on and on LOL!And I guess we went so often the gentleman working even noted, “that’s what you got last few times huh?” And as someone who has worked in the food industry for a small business, I know how many customers pass through everyday - so being remembered was very heart warming!Again, I’ve been in several times and have experienced most of the employees including what I believe was a mother/ daughter duo and an older gentleman who was very very kind with a contagious smile that would show through a mask. The service from all was always perfect and we had absolutely no complaints.Most recently my friends and I walked to Island Creamery then went to the parking garage and watched the sunset for one of our last times before the year ended. On our way we passed an older woman who kindly told us how tasty all of our desserts looked and she was notttt wrong!!Only upsetting part of this experience is that we only just noticed the shoppe during our last week on campus before we all return home for the summer. :( but that doesn’t stop me from telling all my friends to stop by it before they go home too!
I have been ordering by phone and picking up all summer long. Due to Covid I feel it’s a safer way. Never had a problem doing this. Today I call to order and I’m told they do not take orders over the phone. I explained to them that I have been ordering by phone all summer long. They told me they never do that. The guy basically called me a liar. I will never go to this place again!

We came in mid-evening for some ice cream cones and a milkshake. The staff was super helpful in picking out flavors and toppings and putting together some great cones (with cups for backup). We also got a hand-scooped chocolate and peanut butter milkshake. It was awesome. I'd kinda like another now, as I write this. Prices were reasonable. All good. Bonus points: they were playing the Avatar animated series on the TV while we were in. Cool shop.
Very nice staff, excellent milkshakes. So many things to choose from. So many flavors of ice cream omg ! Plenty of street parking too.

Man do I have a story! I drove from 20 minutes away to get ice cream on the island and was disappointed by what I got at another ice cream shop. I passed by Island Creamery, and not be fully satiated, I decided to stop in for some more (the other place charged me about $4 for half a scoop).I ordered a milkshake and I can say that it was the best one I had ever had. The prices were incredibly cheap and the service was great. The workers were so kind and felt like great humans, holding genuine conversations with their customers. I will for sure be back.
