I'm glad the Laurel Lounge is back. However, they were not prepared for weekend crowd with two major holidays being celebrated. I waited 20 minutes to find out the entree of choice would be a full hour. Dinner starts at 5 and only an hour had passed. This was very disappointing. However my previous meals and drinks were tasty.
The new style of serving is horrible. When I recived my DIAMOND meal it was cold. The slow roast pork was so tuff I sent it back. It was a Sunday so I guess they were short staff as the waitress had to bring the food, drinks and clean the tables.
The laurel Lounge AKA Diamond Lounge is now open back it where was before near AC burger place
I personally think it’s very unfair that the Diamond lounge is only open on weekends. We are offered no alternative during the week. Could always count on it in past for an earned free meal in the past.
Since Caesars merged with Eldorado resorts I have stopped going to their properties (Harrah's, Tropicana,) as there is no longer a point to keeping my Diamond status. You used to be able to go into Laurel Lounges and eat as much as you want and they stopped that and they also stopped being open every day. Caesars had a great buffet and now it's a pizza joint. Terrible comps/free play offers. Haven't been there in months and won't be back unless I hear it improves. I earned Diamond status and they cut all these benefits. Screw them. I'll gamble where I can go to a players club that offers an all you can eat selection of food instead of one small plate.
I had the best server . Look for Ms Denise in laurel lounge , believe me she’s amazing server and she’s always a happy face lady . I like her attitude for serving people and she also got me all vegan as I don’t eat meat . I’ll for sure go back for her and ask for her always .
The elevators did not work and the elevators to the garage ramp did not work. Hallways closed off because of water leaks two days in a row. The security was very slow to respond to the neighbors banging our walls and doors at 3 in the morning. People were very rude and and cruel to others. Noisy people partying and when called security they never answered their phone. Did not do so well in winning either. Lost my money and did not enjoy the stay. The room was not really clean when we checked in and had to call because there was no towels or toilet paper. Could not use the pool. I'm tired from the trip cause I was really upset carrying the luggages on the stairs. Also mad because the buffet was only for high rolers.
I was very disappointed to see that Platinum cardholders no longer receive free valet parking. They are also now charging to use the pool, which they never did in the past. For what we spend at these hotels, it’s ridiculous. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.
At the LOBBY BAR, I had a phenomenal experience with PETE; he is a fantastic bartender with an outstanding charisma made our experience complete at the hotel. If you're going to Harrah’s, a must-stop is the lobby bar and get yourself a cocktail with Pete.
I wanted to celebrate my birthday I was very disappointed your customer service was lousy my first room was dirty overall it was a terrible trip due to my accommodations and when I complain you did nothing to fix The problem
