Loved this place. Came for the blue crabs. #1’s we’re sold out but we had #2’s and they were excellent. They steamed them for us and we ate them inside. The customer service was amazing. They were pleasant to everyone that came in. They gave us soap water to clean our hands. Enjoyed the crabs and felt welcomed. If you want #1’s call early and they’ll have them ready for you.
we like the foodmy daughters both loved the fried fish. Very nice people. Lots of raw seafood and lunch options. Best price. I had a great meal. I loved the kids meal.
Fun, old school seafood, fish market with fried fish, fish taco takeout menu. Few tables indoors with outdoor seating next to artistic Ducktown mural. Friendly, helpful staff.
Barbera's is a must-stop for us every time we are in AC. This time we got the fried flounder and shrimp platter with Cajun seasoning, which was absolutely incredible, and the sautéed catfish. After tasting the flounder we ordered an additional sautéed flounder. The fish is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth. Even the coleslaw and sautéed vegetables are delicious! And last but not least, the folks here are incredible: they love what they do and it shows in what they serve. A storied place, and one I'll speak of for many years to come! Long live Barbera's!
Stopped by for a fish sandwich on my way out of AC! My parents rave about this place. Fresh, hot fish sandwich on a brioche bun. Simple easy delicious and easy on the budget!!! Go get one!

Been coming here for years. Best fried fish platter I have ever had. I would eat here everyday if I could, too bad I no longer work in AC.Dom and fam are the friendliest, I wish them the best.
Just happened to be parked next door and decided to walk in and try something. I ordered the shrimp platter and was pleasantly surprised! I always thought they only sold fresh seafood, but I was mistaken. They do cook some things (not a very big menu) but they all sound delicious and I'm looking forward to coming again to try the other offerings!

Ask them what's fresh and get it. The fish, scallops, scallops were delicious. The combo wasn't great bc they didn't have all items fresh on the day we were there. Also ask for old bay on the side. It can be too much seasoning on items like clams. Crab cakes had fake crab meat in it. Stick to the fresh stuff and ask them to fry or sautéed. Fish, clams, scallops were amazing.
