The Atlantic City Popeyes, and the Atlantic City Crown chicken, are the 2 most frequented fried chicken restaurants on Atlantic Avenue, in Atlantic City.Neither restaurant has anything in the way of an atmosphere, both were crowded & dingy, but both serve pretty good fried chicken!Something else I've always noticed-If you want the best French fries, get them at a restaurant that predominately sells fried chicken-The extra flavor from frying both in the same oil makesa lot of difference!
My friend and I went to this Popeyes last week for lunch and the ladies that served us were unprofessional. The cashier barely greeted my friend and me. Didn't say thank you or you're welcome. The lady that was putting our food in the bag kept giving me the evil eye. The tension in this place was straight-up negative. I didn't even want to sit down and eat. I ate my meal someplace else.

It was an satisfactory experience. The servers were very nice and the place was clean and wasn't very crowded. The meal order was also good.
This Popeyes is always busy.. but the food is fresh they fast service and very clean cottman avenue Roosevelt Mall

Horrible visit. Cashier kept my $15 change and try to tell me that I gave her a $5 bill. Had to call police and Popeye customer service. I was told no manager in store at the time. After waiting over 20minutes she reluctantly gave my change. She thought I was a dumb tourist that could be scammed by this everyday hustle they have going on!!
Beware. This location is ALWAYS screwing up orders, especially take-out orders. My large drink was supposed to be a Sprite, but they poured seltzer water instead. I didn't realize it until I was home. I suggest you check everything in your order to make sure it's correct, and sadly you may have to take a sip of your drink before you walk out the door, to make sure it's the right drink. The morning crew is worse than the afternoon/night crew, by the way.
They offer an amazing $14 box which comes with chicken wings, tenders and nuggets. Finished it in one seating. They could do a little better job of cleaning the place though. Tables aren't frequently wiped. Considering how busy it is, I wouldn't blame the employees. Managers should hire more people to keep the place running better
I loved the new fish sandwich. But the restaurant was dirty with garbage overflowing. And they mixed up my mac and cheese with mashed potatoes so I had to go all the way back because of that.
