Better make a reservation in advance, because this place fills up. Pizza is probably the best thing here, as the dough is perfect and they've got all types of interesting toppings (including vegan pepperoni). That said, please try the salads - we got one with a creamy dressing, sunflower seeds and radishes from a microplane. The carbonara was probably the best thing we tried. Textured ramen noodles and a really cool italian/asian fusion. They've also got kimchi fried rice and some other goodies. This place is my personal favorite in the area. Also, the service was fantastic. The server was extremely friendly. A+.
Awesome little place right in the heart of Asbury Park! Great interior decor, friendly staff, and even better food! We got the Margie, a pizza with sourdough crust, fresh mozzarella, sauce, and the perfect amount of basil. Their pizza oven is on display for all to see it get crisped to perfection. Good beer and cocktail selection, as well. One of our new favorites!
I wish I took pictures of the pizza because it was amazing but we were a group of 6 hungry guys. They got a lot of unique pies but also really good classics. Talula's pizza can easily compare if not out rank many of those pizza shops in Brooklyn. I was impressed with taste, quality, and freshness of the pizza as well as price. Not to mention, the salads were good and the Bloody Mary was great.
Fun atmosphere, my favorite spot to get vegan pizza. Once I had to double check and make sure they used vegan mozzarella because it was that close to the real thing! Vegans and non vegans will love the Vegan Vodka Bacon pizza. The Chili Ramen Carbonara is so good too- I ask them to make it vegan for me. If you’re 21+, try a gin & jam!
This place is literally fire. So fresh and everything is locally sourced. Both vegan and vegetarian friendly! The rampus pizza was particularly delicious. The sourdough crust was wonderfully leavened and cooked to perfection. Must attend!!
There is nothing like a gin & jam. I think it is my favorite cocktail ever & it is a must try!! I have tried recreating at home but it is just not the same so I will keep going back. Talulas never disappoints. The bee keepers pizza is also my favorite.
Love this place. Food is always good. My mom does not remember why but as a child she used to call me Talula lol! I had a great drink called “It’s a Jersey thing” and the ham and Brie pie sooo good. My gma lived in Ocean Grove and we had her 90th birthday here
Good food but very slow service, even on a weekday afternoon. Waited long time for appetizer, entree, and 20 minutes for dessert (a cookie) and it wasn't even the right kind i asked for.
The beer selection was limited but the drinks were nice. Lemon on pizza? You got to try it!
