The food was good, but only if you're looking for a snack. They tell you that it's "family shareable", however, that is definitely not the case. We found the portions extremely small to share with 3 adults. It was more like a tasting session. Afterwards, we made our way to get pizza since we were still hungry even after ordering 5 plates of food.
This place is perfection! I enjoyed every single thing we ordered : blini, bao bun, octopus, beet. The highlight was the bao bun though! I easily could've had 3 plates of this to myself. I wish I could explain the full experience but I'm posting 2 weeks after going and not remembering to share the praise. They deserve it. The ambiance is also a nice addition- airy, crisp and welcoming. Definitely returning when in the area.Ahh the heart of darkness cocktail was surprisingly refreshing and rich all at once, perfect for an espresso lover on a summer day!
Delicious!! Came here for dinner and had 3/4 of the menu. A lot of unique flavors, and everything was great. Turkish hummus was my fave. Didn’t try the zucchini flower, but our group is still raving about it.
Thank you thank you for having this amazing Mediterranean menu!! I am a huge fan of Mediterranean food and have had it in Europe and Middle East. The dishes you are going to taste are on another level, so creative and have impeccable taste with fresh flavors and just very unique touch. You must come here to experience it. We are vegetarians and have sesame allergies. The chef created dishes keeping all our limitations and completely WOWed us!! Amazing crew in kitchen, staff and thanks chef Anthony my son finally got to eat at Mediterranean place and he loved it ☺️?
We had a really nice time at Reyla. The staff was fantastic and the food delicious. I had Salata and Burrata. Both were really good. I had a wow moment with Burrata. It's spicy and sweet, crunchy and creamy. The decor is really nice too.
The chef went above and beyond for our group! Our waiter was also amazing. We have had such terrible food and service out lately that this was a refreshing change. We came with two other couples and everyone was impressed. The menu was creative, fresh, and thoughtful. We will be back ! Highly recommended you check them out and try a little bit of everything !

First time in Asbury Park, first time at Reyla but not the last. This restaurant should be your FIRST choice if you are anywhere in the area. We were amazed with the dishes we selected. The flavors were complex and beautifully balanced. The food POPPED visually and the tastes can not be described in words. Please, just go to Reyla and try it. We had the Artichokes, the Shakshuka, and the star by far: the Octopus. Service was spot on, the atmosphere vibrant (I like that comment by Ray M.), and the cost very reasonable. Don't take my word on this one, go and see for yourself. We will be back.
Cocktails were great. They were understaffed but the service was exceptional considering. For anyone looking to go on a Sunday, know they serve brunch. This isn't listed on the website and was disappointing. The chicken was dry and shakshuka was overdone. Perhaps this just wasn't explained to us but meals intentionally come out one at a time, which was incredibly awkward. Would come back for drinks only
Low key atmosphere - high end experience. Mike was cool. Incredible plates. Turkish hummus. Fantastic cocktails. Check out Laylow downstairs.
