I really don’t know what was worst, food, service or the frost in its freezers We knew what we wanted to try, pork roll , egg and cheese on a roll and patrasmi on rye. Ask what was the soup of the day and waitress never updated me. Requested unsweetened ice tea no lemon. Tea came with lemon, twice. Ask again about the soup and still never got back to me. Then my pork roll sandwich came out and my husband’s pastrami did not. Waitress stated it was busy and this was ready first. So after 5-8 mins ( by that time my sandwich was cold) Finally comes out with the pastrami and was so disappointed. Tasted like rubber. Then tasted my sandwich and the porkroll was overcooked. Finally received our check and didn’t add up. Went to pay which had to wait on another line and questioned the total on the check. Of course we were correct but she made a dumb excuse. They all stated how busy it is but when I looked around there were more than sufficient waiters. I guess not organized. When we were about to leave, another disgruntled patriot stated he has been waiting there for half hour to pay. And when I looked at all the tables, all the customers were just looking for anyone to help them. Up to you if you want to go and experience the disappointment, then go for it.
Even though I have lived in the area for 20 years, today was my first time eating at Frank's. It did not disappoint. The custard filled doughnut was one of the best doughnuts I have had in this area. The turkey and ham sub was also delicious. The roll for the sub was a standout as well. I sat at the counter and all the food being prepared on the grill looked great. I drove by Frank's many times and so glad I stopped today. Give it a try
Best place in town to have a great breakfast and brunch! Prices are reasonable and the food is amazingly awesome. Thanks to the staff and servers.
Great place to eat. Especially if you like diner food breakfast. Trust me they are good. I like the home fries and eggs and cheese.
Such amazing food! Great friendly staff. Such a nice experience! Hubby and I had a delicious breakfast!
We ordered the veggie omlet and french toasts both were delicious, good portion size. Very friendly diner staff, the server gave us a complimentary jelly donut which was warm, fresh, and delicious! Good place to eat in the area.

Forget the overpriced trendy restaurants on Cookman.... Frank's is the best place to eat in AP! Family-run business, reasonable prices, great place for breakfast or lunch!
Great Food, Great Staff and they don't skimp on the portion size at a reasonable price. Try the bread they make themselves WOW so fresh. Not a fancy place but a place you go to get good old fashioned food that will put a smile on your face.
