Great service and good food
Food is excellent. Drinks were great. Presentation is beautiful. I came with a party of 4 and everyone got their food except me. I was upset that i didnt get to eat but it was fixed right up by getting my plate for free and complementary drinks while i waited. This is an awesome place if youre looking for mexican food and drinks. Will def come back!
Absolutely incredible experience! Our waiter Matt, was awesome with recommending dishes and drinks as well as dessert. Their margaritas are truly tasty and their plates are perfectly portioned. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to and we can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely loved it great food awesome service drinks that would want to keep going for more. We literally went through almost the whole menu and could not decide what was the best.. because all of what we ordered was great. Thanks guys we will certainly be back soon
I don’t really write reviews much but when I do the food is bad.. Food was absolutely disgusting, everything had so much salt in it. The nachos didn’t even have like any cheese on them. The chicken tacos the meat was pink basically raw, and the cinnamon seasoning that is on them didn’t go with it- even more disgusting. The shells were super hard so I couldn’t even eat it like a taco. Along with a ton of oil on the shell. And it just seems like everything that is served is just thrown onto a plate. The pork had a ton of garlic on it with like no sauce on it along with being dried out. This was my first time here and I saw the reviews online that looked good but was totally turned off from the food when I came in. We left starving because we didn’t even want anything else. The manager was very nice and along with the server. But the food was horrible and I don’t know how people are enjoying the food here. So save your money for overpriced nasty food that’s thrown on a plate.
Went to Bario for lunch on a Saturday, and the restaurant was fairly crowded. We were greeted right away, our server, Matt, made wonderful recommendations. We were served chips and guacamole right away(the best guacamole I’ve ever had). We ordered drinks-the sangria and the Raspberry Beret which were amazing! Matt was so friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed the brisket and chicken tacos. Although we were full from the meal, when Matt described the red velvet cake. We couldn’t revisit, and it did not disappoint! Between the music and food and drinks, the vibe was awesome! I was visiting from out of town and this experience really made my trip worthwhile! Five star food, and five star service!
There was a long wait time for food. More importantly our entrees came out about twenty minutes apart for a table to three. The food was decent but not worth the cost considering the portions are so small. The entrees do not come with any sides and are incredibly small.The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous and it was a great atmosphere.
My family and I were blown away by the delicious food! Menu was creative and consistently great. The service from the host to the servers were warm and attentive. I loved every detail in the restaurant’s aesthetic too! Already raved about Barrio Costero to friends and family. Kudos to the staff and chef!

Have been here a few times- last week went for a double date! Absolutely incredible food and cocktails! Large selection of cocktails and all amazing. We loved the empanadas so much we got 3 orders. The food is so flavorful and unique. I ordered the pork and my boyfriend had the duck and it was all so delish. Perfect date night spot. Our server was attentive and friendly! Highly recommend ?
