There was one person serving everyone at the Oyster Bar. Very, very slow service. The food seemed very average and prices were higher. The oysters were the star. Come here for fresh oysters and drinks before your actual dinner... Don't expect to be waited on quickly.

Stopped by here for lunch while visiting Asbury. Oysters were fresh and the tapas were delicious. We were told it could be a long wait but it took only less than 5 minutes to get served. Kudos. Menu items are a bit pricey but I guess that's just Asbury Park pricing.

First time try after an unseasonably warm October day on the beach and in the water.Awesome atmosphere with great service and awesome food. I’ll be back!

Wonderful selection. For serous oysterfiles. Five star

Great service, atmosphere, drinks and food!

This used to be my favorite spot in Asbury prepandemic. I tried to contact the establishment directly on social media but they did not response so here I am writing my honest thoughts. My usual favorite drink, an old fashioned was served with maraschino cherries and the glass was 1/4 filled. The drink did not taste like it used to at all and was originally made with Luxardo black cherries. Makes all the difference. We processed to order oysters which were fresh, shrimp app and the mussels. The shrimp app was nearly $20 and came with 3 of the smallest shrimp ever and the mussels were boring and tasteless. The bread was a long roll. No serving spoons or napkins were given. I had to get up out of my seat to get what I needed. Overall we were disappointed with our experience and I can honestly say I won't be coming back. Spent so much money for poor quality and service.

stopped by a couple of weeks ago as a party of 4. we had the most delicious oyster

Had lunch there on super hot afternoon. It was nice to sit outside of the restaurant and still be under the hanger. It was way more comfortable than any outdoor seating restaurant on the boardwalk that day. Had some oysters, some mussels and she had a lobster roll which looked more like an open face sandwich. Nice that when you order a variety of oyster they tell you “From the lemon wedge clockwise you have… “ that way you are not guessing wha you are eating. Not sure what she ordered to drink but she kept saying how spicy it was. All in all a pleasant experience.

Oysters was great.

Delicious,,, could’ve used more choices but what they had was very very good
