first time ordering from romanos and it didn’t disappoint!! we ordered 2 pizzas and a calzone chicken spinach alfredo, mezza meatball and an eggplant calzone, all 3 were delicious, delivered hot and quick. Will definitely be back
I can honestly say the Pizza is awful.... probably the worst I've ever eaten. Very unfortunate, because I like other Romano's locations, but the Pizza in Salem is just terrible! I ate lunch there today, and the Pizza was so bad, I threw it away! My suggestion or recommendation to whoever cooks the Pizza, is finish cooking it, leave it in the oven until the crust is crisp and crunchy. My Pizza was undercooked and doughy, and was a pale white color, not even brown... disgusting!
Amazing!! Everything’s we had was nothing short of amazing! The best food in New England.
Romano's was my go-to place because it was the closest until today. I would order from here twice a week and liked everything I got. Today, however, when taking a bite of my sandwich, I started to bleed. The bread was stale, stale enough to make me bleed. I brushed it off to be a one-time thing, told my partner to just call and get the money for my sandwich back, and I would make myself something else.To my surprise, my partner came back and told me that we HAD to bring it back because there was NO WAY it was stale. I was confused. I didn't think Romano's pizza would be the type of place to act like this. We have never asked for our money back, we have never complained. So I called. I could not get a sentence out without the manager interrupting me. Kept talking over me and would not listen. She must be having a bad day and projecting it onto others; as someone who has worked in a pizzeria before, I know well that even bread that comes in fresh CAN BE STALE. Bread can get stale the first time it bakes. So, I asked for the owner's last name and was told I didn't need it. THIS WAS A RED FLAGGGGGG. and oh boy, was I right. There is a reason they won't give you his last name; it's so you don't google him and see who we are giving our money to.Food is basic on any day, and you can find much better at the same price at Suppas or Salem House of Pizza - Support local businesses with honest hard-working people.
Excellent selection of quality selections. My favorites include the Turkey BLT sub, Roman's Supreme Pizza, the giant Island burger, and their spicy French fries. Always served with a smile!
Loved the local atmosphere of this traditional NE pizza eatery. Catered last minute and they obliged with top rate meatballs and chicken ziti. Loved the fun spirit of the staff.
Such a great place, great food, and friendly staff and always makes you feel welcome ! I love all there food . I highly recommend them . You won’t be disappointed!
We ordered a chicken Parm sub. It was huge, shared between 2 adults. The large is like 2 large subs together. Food was very good, as well as the service.
Every time I'm up in Salem NH, I make it a thing to arrive hungry because the food at Romano's Pizzeria is ridiculously good. It's become second nature at this point. There are so many things I haven't even tried yet... but what I have had.... was always the BomB. Philly Cheese steak, the meatball sub is omfg, pizzas. Etc. I ordered a large cheese steak & the thing was a monstrosity for its size. Easily the biggest sub I've ever purchased. I didn't realize they actually double the size of the large subs! ? ? ?
Their sandwiches are huge and delicious. I've had their buffalo chicken salad and that was a big portion and fresh ingredients. Everytime I go to New Hampshire I stop here for food.
