Horrible experience! What was supposed to be frozen wasn't and what wasn't was . They took the "fast" off fast-food. They didn't have what they are mostly known for 'sandwiches', because all of their sandwiches were frozen so if we wanted to get a sandwich we would have had to wait 1hr.. Since I was already there, I settled for chicken tenders and a frozen lemonade, but they said the lemonade wasn't frozen yet, that it was like a slushy.. no wonder the place looked like it had close down!!
Overall it's the same food as across the country. Only downside to this location is it seems they don't push their workers hard. Pulled up and the dine in was closed.... couldn't be covid related since it's New Hampshire and that ship sailed awhile ago. Went through the drive through on a motorcycle and sat in line for 20 minutes. Thought it was short staffing until I saw 9 people through the drive through window. Unless these people were friends of the workers and they all like wearing orange. Nice person giving out food but location needs better management.
Ordered food online for pick-up. When I arrived they had come to a complete stop. There were seven other customers pulled forward waiting for food and the drive-thru was backed up around the building and at a complete stop. It took 45 minutes for me to receive my order and I only waited because they managed to block the entire exit with people stuck waiting. Popeyes should either close this franchise or fire the management. Very poorly run facility.
Hate this Popeyes!! Indoor dining closed due to short staff. So order drive thru instead. At drive through, long almost 40 minute wait in line, and this was with 5 people working in the kitchen. On top of that, order was messed up. Also, building looks run down. I suggest to avoid this Popeyes location if you want good service and need to get something to eat.
My kids loved the fried shimps. Can't go wrong with the Buttery chicken sandwich. One more thing if they want more customers they should pave the road and design and decorate the facility a little bit better js just saying.
AVOID THIS PLACE! worst customer service i have ever received. Last 3 attempts to eat here, i have left without any food. Place used to be great, total joke now. Go anywhere else in the area besides here. Waiting 20 minutes per car to move in the drive thru because the orders are always messed up.
The lobby in this location is CLOSED! and it has been for a little while now. So it makes the drive thru line super long & by the time you get to the pick up window your order is still not ready ???♀️ this has happened 3 separate times to me. And it's happened to plenty of other people too that I've see with my own eyes while waiting at the drive thru. Yesterday afternoon there were 4-5 cars parked to the side after passing the drive thru window my husband & I thought they were employees but no they were PAID CUSTOMERS who were STILL waiting to get their food. You could see & hear how upset all those paid customers were.(all of them yelled at the associate who finally brought their food out & it was still wrong ? ?) I doordash on the side so...FELLOW DOORDASHERS BEWARE: DO NOT ACCEPT A DOORDASH ORDER FROM THE POPEYES IN SALEM,NH!! They're super inefficient. Time is money ? when your a dasher & just having to wait in that drive thru for 25+mins & get to the window just to wait some more for your customers order that isn't ready yet is a HUGE waste of time & money! Unless 1. They hire a whole new crowd of employees(more than just 2 or 3 employees would be great). And 2. They opened up their lobby & become fast & efficient like a fast food establishment should be!
My son ordered through Door Dash & I drove to the store to pick it up. He got the tenders he ordered, but I didn't get the meal I ordered at all. Also, he paid extra for mac & cheese ( for both meals), but we got mashed potatoes instead. Also, both sodas that came with our meals were tasteless and flat.....all in all a very disappointing experience
I love popeyes. Great chicken, awesome sides. This location kinda sucks though. I spent 49 on a family meal and some sides but half of my order never made it into the bag. I believe fast food needs to pay workers better but service like this makes me doubt what I believe. I'd be fired in a second if I only did half my job. This location needs to do better.
Ordered a mobile order at 491 south broadway in Salem New Hampshire at 6:33 and arrived at 6:40. Waited in drive thru line due the restaurant lobby being closed and wasn’t able to pick up my food till 7:40. Pulled up to pick up window and employees are just standing around. There is no urgency from them. The wait time for this location is outrageous and unacceptable. I should not have to wait close to an hr in line for fast food. I understand if there is a lack of employees, but the wait should not be as long as it was. If I could’ve cancelled my mobile order I would’ve. I saw way too many cars come and go as I waited. Would not be going back to this location ever.
