Stopped in here for a late lunch with my wife for pizza. It was Memorial Day... very limited businesses open for food service and ordering. Upon arriving, the kitchen staff told me that they were taking 1 hour and a half break in 5 minutes so I had to get my order in quick. My wife and I settled on just a large cheese pizza. I don't think that I have ever waited as long as I did for this pizza to be served. In fact, I was the one who went to the ordering station and asked about my pizza after about 25 minutes or so. The girl there had no idea where my pizza was. Then the pizza maker showed up out of nowhere and the girl asked him can you make me a large cheese pizza real quick for this gentleman. He then went past her opened the pizza oven and she saw him starting to pull out a pizza she asked if that was a large cheese. He said yes...so there it was, sitting in the oven for who knows how long...but anyways we sat and began eating a piping hot fresh pizza.I t was an Italian style with large slices, fairly sweet sauce, great mozzarella cheese flavor, and a soft chewy crust. It was very good. I'm really not sure how the service is here on a constant basis because of this being my first visit. The food was great and.. and well ... The service questionable at the very least.
Very rude manager. Pricing NOT transparentWe went under the premise that there would be a $10.95 beer and burger special, however, on the check, the burger was $14.95. To be fair, we ordered Bacon on the burger. But a $4 upcharge for bacon is a bit outrageous, especially since it was just bacon bits.Ask to discuss with the manager who was not only rude but dismissive of the issue. His response was that "Covid has increased prices". Fine. But your responsibility is to let the customer know the price of a meal BEFORE THEY EAT. He also mentioned that "I can't print off a thousand new menu's every time my price changes"I am not asking for new menu's. I am asking for pricing transparency. To boot, there is a 3% charge for using credit card that is also not disclosed to the customer!Overall, fair food, a dismissive and rude manager, and I would caution everyone to check their charges!Edit: the website offers the Tuesday Burger and Beer Special for $9.95. If Covid was the issue on printing menus, update your website!!!
They make the best pizza and food. They have a great menu and the staff is amazing.I love it there and never leave hungry or without a big smile.I highly recommend Granfanallys.
Good pizza, lots of good beer on tap. The over all size of the restaurant is small and it's very loud. If your looking for a quite little place for and pizza and beer this is not the place. But if you like the little pub type place and don't mind the noise, this is your place. Overall a good place and the food is delicious.
STAY AWAY WHEN THEY’RE BUSY. After going there the first time we were excited to try again. called for take out they said an hour and 10 minute wait(one Calzone, wings and a burger). Which is fine I get it was Friday. Arrived about an hour and 15 minutes later for them to tell us it would be 15 minutes longer because the calzone just went in and she would let us know when it was ready. Waited for 25 minutes before checking in at the counter, to which we found out our order was done for who knows how long. After getting home and eating a few bites of the calzone find out it was completely undercooked and full of raw dough. Called back and phone got disconnected, fine, called back again and got put on hold for 5+ minutes gave up out of frustration to write this. I’ll never go back to this place even though we loved the food the first time and they have a great beer selection too.
was sooo yummy, recommend highly ?
My favorite pizza place in the area! Great pizza for a great price. They're speedy & always extremely friendly. I'll go out of my way to order from Granfanallys. Plus the have one of the best tap selections in the area.
Met Marie on a flight home. She told us about her place. We promised to check it out. For a Saturday afternoon, just after opening, the place was packed. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and staff was friendly. We will be back!
If you're looking for authentic NY style or Sicilian pizza this is a great place to go. You have to order at the counter and the staff brings you your food. Bar orders are separate. Seems like minimal effort would allow for proper table service, the staff is already making multiple trips to the table.
Tried the garlic knot pizza for the 2nd time. 1st time not so good. It was burnt and no seasoning on crust. It was much better this time. They should offer a side of marinara though. Who gives garlic knots with no dipping sauce?
