Wicked expensive. The $57 in way small print for the sampler platter should be larger. The price is shocking. You get big and fatty ribs, fatty pulled pork and brisket, each dotted with sauce. There was a small side of sauce and a choice of two sides. We choose the frito pie that was good and cole slaw that is great for weight watchers. The small (20) chips were good but embarrassing with how few. Not $57 worth on any day with or without inflation. There should be bbq sauce at easy access. Beers were in smaller IPA glasses than most and $9. We were not aware of the $3 service charge added to the bill. One fabulous server in the place and one cook that we could see. Much better choices in the area to spend your money and get flavorful food. This was the worst value we experienced and walked away hungry and thirsty after spending $90. for 2.
Really enjoyed Lunch with a beer at Border Brewery and Barbecue. Had the brisket sandwich. It was fresh, flavorful, and filling. The beer was awesome. Great selection. I think I am hooked on Jalapeño IPA. It isn’t very hoppy but has incredible flavor. In fact, I grabbed a crowler of Jalapeño and Amber Ale. Shared it with friends. Had to go back today for another Jalapeño crowler for the weekend.
Great food! Pulled pork on a cornbread waffle sandwich was amazing. Fried pickles were great too!
The Peanut Butter Stout is amazing. The BBQ was good too. Highly recommend!
The food was very good, but a little bit pricey. The burnt ends plate in my picture was $21 and the tiny cups of coleslaw and baked beans were $4 each. It is definitely not a family friendly place. They don’t have milk to offer and while we were there I heard two songs over the speakers extolling the virtues of pot smoking and another song the had constant use of the F-word. That being said, the beans were delicious, the burnt ends were tender and plentiful, and the cornbread waffles were a creative way to serve sandwiches. The outdoor seating made it very dog friendly with several dogs joining the diners.
Excellent food. Great beers. Really good down to earth people. We are very happy every time we come here. The Burnt Ends are to die for
Sadly, not a fan. The beers were mostly flat and had off flavors. The BBQ was sub-par too. I really wanted to like it, decor and bar vibe was nice!
Placed was packed which I think is a good sign their beers are excellent (we just came for food). They do flights which everyone seemed to enjoy. Our BBQ food was MEH. Very small portions for the price. Might come back to drink but wouldn’t return for dinner alone.
The food was delicious! The beer was smooth! And, Stephen was so friendly and attentive! We will be back!
The BBQ is excellent. Absolutely go on the weekend so you can get it. The brisket was some of the best I've had. The beers are overall decent, with some better than others. Enjoyed the pumpkin ale the last time we went.
