I love this place. Everyone is just so friendly and warm. It's so nice to be in a place that remembers that I am your consumer. I'm consuming your thaichovski with a little chocolate and a shot (no rum though, weak!)....But I'm also consuming your smiles, your good energy and your kindness. Thanks for keeping me going all day! See you tomm! Love, Wonderwoman
I was very excited to try this place since I've heard nothing but good reviews, and I'm happy to give them another.I tried their matcha latte and to eat I had the vegan veggie wrap (the type of wrap I chose was spinach) Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating when it came to my dietary preferences. The staff was very friendly as well! I ordered another matcha before I left and the manager (I'm assuming) remembered me by name and gave me a small discount! She also suggested I tried some of their housemade lavender syrup, which paired nicely with the matcha.I definitely will be coming back soon to get some computer work done or peruse their vinyl collection.
I like this place. It's cool and they have good tea and pretty good coffee.
Great place. Got a smoothie, a coffee, and a cookie for a small price. The only fault was that the smoothie, which was a mango lassie, was not mangoey or sweet enough.
We liked this little coffee shop so much, we came here both mornings during our brief stay in Portsmouth while passing through the area. The coffee is delicious, nice and strong americanos if you add an extra shot. My husband had a couple different varieties of the scones and he raved about them. I had the potato and egg hash and it was very good. We also purchased a couple of records here, as they have some for sale. There’s a really nice selection of tea pots and coffee & tea, as well as some merchandise. I also appreciated that the staff was masked and the 99.9% of the customers were as well, which made me feel a little bit better about having my 1.5 year old child inside with other people. It’s always a struggle for us to find places where we feel it’s at least relatively safer to take our child, and when I find those places I want to support them as much as possible. If I ever return to the area, I will definitely come back to this little gem of a coffee shop.
This place is okay. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. But the food and coffee is lacking. I ordered granola with milk, tychocksky (not sure I spelled that right), and a scone. The drink is a mix of chai and coffee. It was completely watered down, no taste of either.Scones were really dry, little flavor.Granola was great. But more could be placed in the cup, it was mostly milk and little granola. Not bad, but not great. The prices are fair for the area. But I most likely wouldn't come back.
Their coffee is great and I love their pastries. I recommend anything with lemon. Everything is made fresh. It's not your typical coffee shop. It is much better.
I bought a few tins of tea bags to take home -- the earl gray, mango ceylon, and Moroccan Mint. They're all great. I just wish they had more variety in their tea bags and tips, like they do in their loose teas, for those of us who prefer the convenience when brewing just a cupful and not having to risk floating tea leaf particles that escape from the mesh strainer.
Latte is too bitter. Staff washing floors while customers are still in the store. Not very cozy. This is not a great spot. Not sure why rated so highly.
The staff is friendly polite and goes out of their way to accommodate you. Cute café great atmosphere. The food is delicious.
