wife really thought with all the burgers on the menu , how can you go wrong? buns very small.....burger not that great...ordered an egg on it but never found it....also took forever to get something even thou it was a slow time.....will never go back
A Thursday night. Burgers basically. After 20 min I had to go to the hostess and ask for a waitress. Waitress finslly came and dropped off menus, didnt take drink orders. Food came after 1/2,hour...cold. We told the waitress our food was cold and she said she wasnt allowed to take it back. End of sentence. No resolution offered. We were charged. She never attended to our table at all. At the end of the meal she asked if everything was good! Ah no. Very very loud. There are much better places to go in Portsmouth.
Buy 1 get 1 free Monday night burgers. Fresh and flavorful and served at right temp. The fries were terrific too. We aren’t bar people as we don’t drink but food was outstanding. It’s a bit load inside due to all the tvs and music, but food made it worth it. Restroom was spotless.
Good beer, good food, great service, plenty of whiskey choices. 2 for 1 burgers on Mon & Tues nites.
LOVED having a meal here. Had burgers on the 2 for 1 deal that is currently on Mon and Tues nights. Great food, great service, good music, great atmosphere. Bought one of their t-shirts too!
Great place! We went for Brunch on a Sunday, and it was really busy. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I had "The Hungry Man" which was 2 eggs, home fries, ham, sausage, bacon, toast, and 2 pancakes. The Bloody Mary's are soooo good! Lots of toppings for the Bloody Mary's as well. I will definitely be going back. I want to go back at night when they have live music.
As usual amazing food and atmosphere. Phenomenal service. The bacon bucket appetizer never disappoints the burgers are the best you'll ever have and the drink selection is huge and amazing. Never had a bad experience here. Highly highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The fried Cherry pepper appetizer was fantastic. Unfortunately the burgers were much to brag about. My wife got one with a fried egg on it and the egg was overcooked and rubbery. I got the forget about it Burger although it was tasty it could have used a little more marinara and mozzarella cheese on it. We will definitely give it another shot
The pros...great bar staff.agreat drinks.The fried cherry peppers were fantastic.The burgers well.... The forget about it was ok.Somewhat tasty but lacks Italian flare.The burger with an egg on it was terrible.The egg was like rubber.When asked about it the server had no idea..We will try again .But a special night should be to put your best foot forward
I know I should probably start with a great food review, or maybe mention the fantastic location or the wonderful hours or the attentive service. And yes, all of those were fantastic this morning after our morning walk around Portsmouth. But I think it's best to begin with the gorgeous Bloody Mary! A build your own beauty, with choice of spice level, everything fresh, really pretty presentation. Jump started my Saturday morning. I also had a wonderful Bernie's omelette with bacon, goat cheese instead of cheddar, and avocado with cilantro lime aioli, tater tots that were crispy and tasty, and a lovely marbled rye toast. Oh, and the cost for all this fresh gorgeousness? Very reasonable. And did I mention that the wait for the restaurant across the street (which is also very good, but super crowded), was out the door, while we walked right in at 8:00 a.m. opening and were seated at a table by the window. Bravo GOAT!
