Returned after a few years have past and was so happy to have another Great experience. Sat outside and basically created our own tasting menus. Coupled with some nice drinks and local IPA’s it was an ongoing food affair. Service was lovely and fun. I usually write some of the dishes but we had 4 people and truly had lots of plates so may miss writing one down. Every dish was tasty and fresh. Local greens, Local cheeses, grilled oysters, fish tacos, hush puppies, vegetable cavatelli, a burger, etc…. Will absolutely recommend (again)
We had a great evening here at The Franklin. The food was excellent and we tried most of it. The service was epic and it started with Rachel in the front. We were late called and she worked hard to accommodate and was professional. The grilled broccoli was awesome. Empanadas, dirty Frankie, skirt steak, fish tacos. All was amazing.
Lovely happy hour. Oysters were $1.25. Drinks were so good. The broccoli tastes amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Such a cute historical little restaurant. Definitely take advantage of their happy hour! Rotating Oysters for $1.50 each, pair it with their $5 bubbly or featured cocktail. Always a good time and great selection at this place.
An absolute must in Portsmouth. Servers are knowledgeable about the menu, especially fresh oysters. Perfect for a date or small group. Nice wine selection. Get the fries no matter what!
Delicious oysters buck a shuck happy hour. Good drinks. Probably best to make a reservation even if you just wanna sit at the bar.
All I can say is oh my God the food there was unbelievable. The oysters were the best oysters I had and we are always trying new ones. We got the fried chicken which was so delicious. The dessert was unbelievable! We loved everything about this restaurant and we will be back very soon I highly highly recommend this to anybody that’s looking for yummy food! I’d love to meet the chef As I would tell him his food was Absolutely delicious! :)
I can't give a full review as I didn't get oysters but the drinks, fries, and taco side were a flavorful hit. Kind and helpful bar staff and a cool vibe were perfect for a drink break after Portsmouth shopping.

Delicious sandwiches and drafts/drinks! Wonderful servers and chefs! I will always stop through on my way up North.
