Great food best chicken tenders around definitely going back
Great food fast friendly service would definitely recommend..
great breakfast, friendly staff and fun environment.
Last Saturday there was a sign on two of the doors entering the diner that said that their computer was down and there was an ATM machine available. I used it knowing there would be a fee and wasn't happy about it but I have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wait staff, When I asked the hostess how long the computer had been down she said that it wasn't. I told her about the sign and that I had just paid a 3 dollar fee and wasn't happy about it. She told me she would take down the signs right away. Someone had clearly not been paying attention to that situation and I ended up paying another 2.50 from my bank. In addition, there was a man that kept walking around but not really doing anything and by his appearance I wanted to ask my waitress if he was kitchen staff or maybe homeless. His hygiene (hair) and baseball cap and t-shirt without a logo for the diner (?) added to the perception that something was off. It took quite awhile to realize that he was one of the wait staff and was clearly attentive to his customers but management needs to make it clear that his appearance was not up to the standards of this diner that has been around a long time. The food was excellent and my waitress Sydney was efficient, friendly and went above and beyond. Shedeserves kudos.
↪️A+ FOOD & ATMOSPHERE↪️I stumbled across Roundabout Diner quite on accident while driving through Portsmouth on a daytrip, not knowing about its award-winning reputation. Hands-down my favorite dinner I ate in New Hampshire! The atmosphere carries itself throughout the experience with palpable, vintage-diner energy. Raucous conversation, frequent laughter, personable service, vibrant red counters, and classic checkerboard tiling converge to create a strong sense of time and place. My waitress provided every accommodation and paid careful attention to my dining experience. I savored my Corned Beef Reuben (slow-cooked, thick-cut slices, with melted Swiss and sauerkraut; the grilled marble rye bread absolutely makes it!) and toasty-brown waffle fries. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be making another pit-stop! (There's a menu full of mouth-watering-looking desserts and breakfast foods to add to my repertoire.)
Excellent comfort food- I could not finish my meal. Purposely had it boxed up so I could eat cookies and cream frappe. Must have a frappe if you go- delicious .
This is a 50's diner with 50's decor and music. Classic meals, food was good but service was a little slow even when no one was there but servers are friendly. We had both breakfast and dinner here since we stayed at the attached Best Western. Meal portions are large prices are fair.

Came here with my daughter. We both ordered the French Toast griddle combo plate. Eggs were disgusting. Tasted like rubber! We never once received a refill on our drinks. Got bottomless coffee with no coffee. Save your money! Cost us $40 for garbage. I doubt I’ll ever go back. Worst service.. she never once checked on us. Took our order and never once came back. I had to go looking for her to get our ticket. I had to go looking for a glass of water. And they weren’t super busy. There was no wait to sit down. Save your money!
As usual had great food (blueberry pancakes, bacon and home fries). And Connor M provided excellent service to us. We always love coming here!
