We were there for the drag show which was great but the food was awful sorry to say .
We sat at the bar and shared the pretzels w/ beer cheese. They were the stars of the evening. We also shared a brisket/rib combo plate with slaw, mac & cheese. The corn bread was the star of that plate. Meat was tasty but a bit dry. We would definitely go back and try some of the other dishes. Friendly bartender and overall nice place.
Food was basic, just ok. The Brisket , and burger & fries were good. The nachos were very basic but large portioned. The wings were terrible. Our waiter was very nice, and got everything right. The place is kind of runned down & the ceiling was leaking from the pass by shower earlier. We love the area & have been to Portmouth multiple times. Unfortunately, won't be back here.
It was great! We had a party of 12, celebrating a birthday and the staff was super friendly, food was good. Really cool building as well. No complaints!
Ate in the Vault which was much quieter from the main room. Seemed short staffed or weren't expecting the huge party that walked in. Baker, our server, kept us informed along the way & was extremely attentive along the way. Food was excellent. Will definitely return since the menu is expansive but may pick a less stressful time on the staff.
Two words. Beef. Rib. Do yourself a favor and get one
We came last weekend for a late night dessert and drinks. The patio was so cute and there was a saxophone player down the street. It felt like a movie scene. We decided to go back today for an early dinner before the Bitter Pill show. It was too hot for the patio, but the inside is even prettier! The dome, the old architecture. I wish they would take down the trashy signs but it was still really pretty. The food was absolutely amazing. We got a brisket plate with Mac and cheese and a raging Cajun. So flavorful and such generous portions. As a bonus the bartender was a cutie
The food was terrible, the staff unfriendly, and overall a miserable experience.
