Such a great concept! Friendly, helpful staff drink recommended by the bartender was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again.
We loved this place. Peace and tranquillity plus excellent food and coffee. Superb service on top of that too!! If you live in Portsmouth you will already be a regular, if you’re a visitor it’s a great place for a light meal and some quiet downtime. Thank you so much for your hospitality
This was really unexpected . I went to Portsmouth for ice-skating. it was the last weekend and me and my friend started walking around and found this booking bar and it was such a nice store nice people a very diverse selection of books and cheap I was so excited I wanted to buy every book. Ended up getting books for my niece. it's worth going to
This place is so lovely! Great selection of drinks (coffee, alcohol, juice, tea, etc.) to choose from. Andrea the owner greeted us so nicely and showed us around the place. We felt extremely welcomed! There’s lots of different genre options and the books are incredibly affordable. Would definitely recommend!
What a great concept--new and used books, cocktails and coffee. It was really nice to spend a little time here on a cold snowy Saturday

Cute and different. Disappointed that there’s no live music and chai latte was cold. This was rectified upon request
Thoroughly enjoy this spot. I particularly like the beat night, a poetry open mic with a live band. The staff is friendly and there's a decent little menu of snack type foods and sandwiches and such.Nice little spot for a poetry night and to pick up a few good books. Highly recommend.
